  4. Doesn't look like their sites are integrated. They just seem to have 2 themes the same. I can't see that you would need students to log into the Joomla Website. With a quick look on Google I have found this Moodle - Joomla Integration - Joomla! Extensions Directory and this http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=39993 You can use LDAP to get the AD users into Moodle. I don't think (I maybe wrong) that you would be able to integrate users from Moodle and Joomla if 1 is hosted internally and 1 externally. Found this with a quick look on Google, I found this on the Moodle site http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=129727 and also this ThemeGurus - Moodle Themes..Moodle+Joomla/Mambo Combos!   5. Sounds like the 2003 Domain had Syncronisation setup with Offline files then.
  6. This can be done via Offline Files. You will need to make sure that it isnt disabled in Group Policy. If it isn't all the teacher needs to do it right click and then select 'Make available offline' Cheers, Steve

  12. You will need to log into the Adminsitrator backend of Joomla and go into the Global Configuration section. You will then find Global Site Meta Description and Global Site Meta Keywords.

  14. If I was you, I'd more than likely go for Joomla and use the EduGeek Joomla package. There are a few examples of Joomla sites here EduGeek.net Forums - Joomla Sites IF you did choose Joomla, there are people on here that can help with problem you may have. You would need to talk to your LEA about making sure that PHP and MySQL is available on your hosting. Cheers, Steve

  18. If you want to use a random password, just put that in the CSV file and upload like I said above. You can use IDAP for this. Have a look at this LDAP authentication - MoodleDocs
  19. Yes that is right.
  20. Yes you can download the users into a CSV file and then add the password into the CSV. Then go back into Moodle and use the upload user option and select update exisiting users. Send me a PM if you need any help. Cheers, Steve

  23. I had that as well. I was just puttng 'Return to sender. No longer at this address' on them and putting them in the post box. Most of them did stop after a while. I did also see the postman and explained to him about it and he was taking some of the letters back to the sorting office for me as well. Steve
