If you have the paid version of Salamander Integration Suite, they will set up a scheduled task to run overnight. I don't think there is a way of running the free version automatically.

It's a wide spread issues that Microsoft are aware of. Get it reported to Microsoft education support (https://aka.ms/edusupport) so that they know that your tenant is affected. The company I work for have a number of support tickets with Microsoft about the issue after schools have been reporting it to us today. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/class-notebook-tab-has-disappeared-from-both/eca3182e-554f-4957-9ba6-57f91f844b1f

One of England's largest school academies to go phone-free
Devontechie replied to 6Foot2's topic in General Chat
My daughter has just started secondary school. Her school gives each student with a Yondr pouch for their phone. They can open it when they leave the school side at the end of the day. It sounds like they have been doing this for a few years now. -
I was lucky to get the photos I got because it was covered by cloud not long afterward that was taken!

We are looking to appoint a hardworking and dedicated Network Manager to maintain and develop our school’s IT system. We are looking for an individual who not only has the knowledge and skills to undertake this role but someone who truly embodies the school’s vision and core values. The post holder will have overall responsibility for managing the help desk ticketing system, handling all aspects of IT technical support and prioritising their own and their team’s workload. The individual in this position will need to have excellent inter-personal skills and be able to communicate clearly and sensitively with stakeholders and work well in a team. You need to be able to work on your own initiative and have the ability to work well to deadlines during busy and pressured times. A key element of the role will be to contribute and support the ICT development plan alongside the School Business Manager addressing and removing any barriers to Teaching and Learning. The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring that the school is GDPR compliant. If you want to work in a School where everyone is valued and supported to be the best they can be (both students and staff) then this is the school for you. Please click on the following link or copy to your browser to get a flavour of St Wilfrid’s https://youtu.be/I5REzWqgTe0. As you will see from the link, we have great facilities, great staff and above all, great students! This is a school that wants to be the very best it can be. Do you want to be part of that? You do not need to be a Catholic to work here, indeed many of our staff are not, but a willingness to embrace the ethos of the school is expected. The strength of community at St Wilfrid’s is a strong one based upon mutual respect. The staff work incredibly hard and are prepared to go the extra mile for the students in their charge. Our students are amazing and they contribute enormously to making the school such a welcoming and productive place. Our most recent Section 48 Diocesan Report (October 2017) and our Ofsted Report (January 2018) certainly reinforce this aspect of school life. All potential applicants are invited and encouraged to arrange a visit – we firmly believe you won’t be disappointed! St Wilfrid’s is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Any successful applicant will be required to undertake a DBS check at an Enhanced level.
