One of the ANME members did a session on Deploying Windows 10 in an Education Environment at our meeting a couple of weeks ago, we streamed it live on Facebook and the video's still available - worth watching as a lot of good points were mentioned by a few people - http://www.facebook.com/TheANME

It sounded like there was an app that sites on the file server that syncs and reads permissions, so users would still get their local mapped drive, but that would be synced from the server... so the same thing, but reducing the traffic on workstations syncing individual user drives... -

We've not had them long, but the ones we bought with Pro pre-installed haven't had any issues so far... Did you get a quote for the Win 10 Pro model?

You can get Linx tablets with Win Pro on - roughly the same price with the keyboard as the Linx + Keyboard with Win Home bundle... I've ordered two recently, and going to be ordering another today or tomorrow...

Worth checking out Schudio - great CMS designed for education so the back-end is quite logical for anyone managing it... School Website Design | App | Wall | Web | VoiceSchool Website Design from Schudio, Lancashire (ask for Ian) They do the ANME website and my school site and I've been really impressed with the service...

Not for the software you've mentioned, you'll need at least the pro, but will probably find you'll need the Enterprise which is $450pa (no UK prices so depends on exchange rate) - click the link for Government / Education when you click to buy... No, the actual file size is only 1.5MB... Just uses 13GB+ when it's updating... -

My work PC has 32GB, my member spreadsheet uses over 13GB of it when it's updating, and still takes several minutes... -
