I can't speak about the exact issues you're having, but we had similar issues with Adobe CS 5.5 and we're using mandatory profiles... I spent a while with Adobe's online chat and they got me sorted, it turned out I just needed to change the permissions on the Adobe directories giving Everyone full access... Could be worth trying...

An extreme solution for just that one task, but I use Impero for Power Management... It generates reports so you can see how much it's saved you, and they reckon there's a return on investment in about 6-8 months from Power Management... Plus it could save you money reducing the need for other solutions you may have in place...

It'd be worth specifying which / how many inputs & outputs you need, and whether you needs an EQ to save people looking up the models you've mentioned... We got ours replaced a couple of years ago but I just let the company do it as it was part of a complete sound & lighting refresh.

Not sure I knew about that, but not sure that'd be suitable for what @Petrosa meant (IIUC) as it would just flag them as spam rather than blocking entirely or reporting them to relevant people...

I think there are standard word lists available online that can be used, I'm going to copy mine from the esafety rules elsewhere, but I can't see any way of importing them in bulk, so they have to be added manually... Does anyone know if PowerShell can be used to edit rules in this way quicker?

How daft! Sounds like setting the "Set sign-in status" in the user's settings to Blocked is the only way to ensure access is denied... it's done automatically when an AD account is disabled if it's synchronised (and not changed back when re-enabled)...

I've just got my own in atm, but need to add a lot more to it... You should be able to add as many as you want, enter it in the text box, click the plus and it just adds to the top of the list below it...

How regularly is Office 365 syncing with your AD? Could it just be that the password reset hadn't synchronised?

Don't you have to add the unique iTunes accounts to the different iPads? That's what we were advised to do, which is why we didn't do it with aliases... I'd have rather done it that way though!

Don't you need to sign in on the iPads using their unique accounts though? That's what we had to do with ours...

Not a problem... I've got rules set up for a few things in there, including my own custom esafety monitoring and spam filter :-p

I'd do it with a Rule in Exchange Admin - Rules - Mail Flow, then create a rule that says if the recipient email address includes ipad (or whatever) forward to you...

I'm in my second year of Amazon Prime now, and got to say it's pretty good... The content of the "free" prime content on Amazon Video is updated in a similar manner to Netflix (also got) and Now TV, so not terribly regularly... but (like Netflix) they're doing more and more of their own shows now, catering to various audiences, and some of those are pretty good... Plus the free delivery on most stuff on Amazon can save a fortune if you buy a lot from there... and being able to give 4 other people access to that free prime next day deliveries is a nice little bonus for your family/friends too... (I think there's a sale just for existing Prime customers on the 15th too which I'm intrigued about too)

Hiya, Only just seen this, sorry... We've had it for about 4+ years I think now, so not sure what it costs now... I can put you in touch with a reseller that won't give you the hard-sell or pester you constantly if you're interested... There have been a lot of changes since it was first released, and they're constantly thinking of new features etc. so I'm happy to stick with inVentry for the foreseeable future, their support has been great too, quick to respond and resolve things.

I was referring to Foldr, I only know HAP+ by name, not looked at the features, they both allow remote access to files, but I don't think HAP+'s quite as integrated into iPads as Foldr...

I'd highly recommend inVentry - InVentry Sign in Solutions for Education | InVentry It does all sorts, and you can take a register in the event of fires on the iPad app... It can link to SIMS for students signing in too...

I'm hoping to get Foldr soon... one of the other major advantages is being able to open and save documents through the Office apps on iPads directly to their homedrives via Foldr, and also being able to take photos on them saving them to the network rather than clogging up the iPads... They were at the ANME meeting in March and got some great feedback from it...

esafety was the primary reason I looked into Impero when I was looking a few years ago, and I can't recommend it highly enough, not only for the esafety side of things, but for everything else it does too... I can't remember about the cached history for off-site laptops off the top of my head, though I'm sure I've heard it discussed, but it can show you detailed logs of student / machine activity, not just web history but open documents / window titles, printed & deleted files etc. as well as violations of the policies with screenshots and videos... Happy to talk more about if you have any questions...
