Has anyone installed Lexion (or heard of it!)? I'm about to install it so we can trial it and wondering if there's any gotcha's!!

Point taken! To be more specfic, I meant if it isn't saved on 'my' network I can't be held responsible - though more likely a mentioned it'll be a grey area.... I'm guessing as well as the risk of viruses, etc, this is another reason why some organisations block access to USB devices, CDs, etc

I view it as the onus being back on the user, if it isn't on 'my' network I can't be held responsible. Though updating your Terms of use as mentioned above to cover the school just in case wouldn't hurt!

Isn't the Royal Mail a government owned limited company, surely they could persuade them to have the licence for free if they own it....!

Our laptops are XP and the encryption password of each laptop is based on a common word and it's individual asset ID tagged onto this word, all staff are aware of this. I have done my best to make them aware they are not to share these with outsiders or pupils.... Like you, as the aim is to protect any data on them if the event of loss or theft, I'm happy for them to share the encryption passwords amongst themselves

Have you tried contacting Axel support, they've been good when I've contacted them. If you haven't Matt from Axel is on here so you should get a response soon! TBH though, I wouldn't expect a great result from doing this, I would be tempted to use a PC for vid conf stuff.

This rings a bell... We used to be on Exchange 2003 but have used 2007 for a few years now... If my memory is correct, I think we got around it by selecting the offending message and another in OWA and deleting both, I can't recall if was any other message or one above/below or both! Never had this issue in 2007 though only 2003....

My first proper job was in the Royal Mint Coin Club inputting collector coin orders onto their system. Great fun........ Second job was sat on a line packing Hong Kong coins into collector sets......... Even less fun!

Totally agree! Watching the news last night they were talking of Libya now in terms of a civil war, rather than an uprising. I don't have the answer, but something needs to be done!
