Xenserver 6.0.2 here and we run scheduled snapshots which are then hived off to another storage repository, for file backup we use BE 12.5 which does a very nice job in a D2D2T scenario, all our Virtual hosts have 2 mirrored disks 10k.6 as another precaution and these are connected to SUN 7110 SAN which runs both RAID5 and RAID6 across 2 volumes one for speed and the other for reliability. Just recently purchased a Synology Rackstation, 34TB of formatted storage now I have filled up the disk tray with 4TB drives 😊 looked at Veaam but it was too expensive for us atm perhaps later when we have a larger budget.

Sims Spring 2014 Update went perfect as usual including our new Moodle agent which updates automatically using Solus 3 agent, thanks to WebAnyWhere for this and now our Moodle will always be up too date with our Sims.

Went with KitKat around a month ago on my GS4 but found it had issues with calls, cutting off intermittently so took a step back with CarHDRom and I have found this to be absolutely brilliant, although still jellybean 4.3.2 it has dual boot capabilities and also the first installation allows you to choose which apps you want to install as part of the Rom. @cdunn93: You could go down the route of a 70" LCD screen and get one of these couple that up with a mini computer on the back and you would probably save 3.5k on that previous recommendation. Its worth a try Also watch this video pretty impressive yeah?

@abillybob: Got a great ROM running on my GS4 called "CarHDROM" absolutely solid as a rock, tried KitKat 4.4.2 and it totally bricked my phone until I rolled back to the one mentioned, has the option when it loads to install all the Galaxy apps but to be honest only use a couple. Been great since and also has dual boot functionality Give it a go, nothing to lose eh!

@timbo343: Have you got the dotnet 4 framework installed? Just out of curiosity Could also be a HDD fault have you checked the drive for errors?

@AButters: Can match and beat your 10 years by 2 and they still going strong: Core switch = WS-C3550-12G Edge switches a mixture of 3550's 48 ports 100MB and 3560's 48 port 100MB Fibre OM3 backbone with OM3 fibre upload links to all switches 100MB to desktop Still going strong but looking to upgrade to either Juniper or Meraki (Cisco) all with POE and 10GB uplinks and 1GB ports plus 10GB backbone, this shouldn't be as expensive this time round with all OM3 fibre already in place but might (cost willing) change to OM4 to make it last another 12 or so years. Never thought about HP and just as well now with the cost of their support going up on all their kit, never needed support for our Cisco kit it just works. Happy Day's

Yes this is what I meant by the remote app (client) you can also if my memory serves me correctly configure the client to run from the server with a config file to make it do what you want.

@fiza: I had to actually install the remote service on the workstation, create a user policy and specify a program to run on login, which was the remote PaperCut app, works like a charm for just this one person. If you need to you can just add more accounts to this user policy and install the remote PaperCut app to all the workstations that require it. Ohh! BTW this was on an RMCC4 network but I am sure this would work on Vanilla just as well

@mac_shinobi: I have never been a one for updating firmware on the assumption it will make my device better, it is a true saying "If it ain't broke don't fix it" as so many people on here have found out from experience, one which comes to mind is the Oracle SUN 7110 SAN debate, people updated firmware and got nothing but problems so I am aware that this can and will have a catastrophic impact on storage units alike. Just having a play with it at the moment, 5 secs to join Domain and pull all the AD groups and users in but haven't defined whether I really need to have it joined to Domain yet. Maybe just set up a few LUNs and Targets point various servers at these and see what it does yeah? First Attempts At Learning

Hi All, Just taken charge of this badboy: With the new version 5.0 DSM it has lots of goodies to play with...............only problem is which ones to choose hehe! Plus lots more with 22TB formatted RAID 6 backend storage, Gonna have me some fun tring to break it first hehe!

Nothing new then hehe! Have been using this bluetooth pairing method on my Samsung GS4 in conjunction with my Yamaha YSP14 sound bar for the past 6 months..........Apple probably pinched part of the protocol from them hehe!

@Dave_O: That seems about on a par with us, 1000 users in total, 50 laserjet printers 80/20 split mono/colour and our annual costs are £3.5k - £4.5k dependant on the curriculum subjects content. We also use PaperCut on our Photocopiers and 3 x MFD's which are on a managed system from United Carlton on contract. This is down from initial costs for less hardware when I first started of approx £14k per annum which through good printing strategies has seen an increase in actual hardware and printing but managed better has cost less.

This switching function prevents remote control interference when several projectors or video equipment are operated at the same time.When the projector is operated in "Code 2, " both the projector and the remote control must be switched to"Code 2. "To change the code for the projector:Select either "Code 1" or "Code 2" in this Setting Menu. To change the code for the remote control: Press and hold both the MENU and IMAGE buttons together for more than 5 seconds. After changing the code,make sure the remote control operates properly. Just ran it via another test user bypassing the proxy and it works instantly on IE9, It does rather point to Smoothwall being the problem as we both use it don't you think?

Are you using Smoothwall? Got exactly the same problem using a staff account and this site has been unblocked, no reports from the Smoothwall box to state why? Here is the report window:

I think @Sylv3r is using our LA's version of it and he says its really good except it has costs from our LA so not free like I suppose it is in the USA
