  1. I think theres an option on a chrome book to do that, something like "power wash" from memory. The neverware iso is to convert a old laptop into a chrome book. Sorry not a chromebook expert but hopefully there will be one along in a min!
  2. Has the DNS settings changed? The Gateway test uses DNS by default I think.
  3. Our trust have a central Meraki MDM and Apple School Manager instance set up. We have a batch of DfE ipads arriving which are registered to School Manager etc. How can we federate the multiple schools Office 365 tenants into the one school manager setup? (The goal being Single sign on to shared ipads). Can this be done, can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!
  4. @elsiegee40 Now that's one tour that's probably better virtual! As long as they don't send out samples!
  5. Is your smoothwall set up as a single Tenant or do you have multiple schools running from a series of linked smoothwall (multi Tenant). Your web filter policy page will show different tenants if you are set up multi tenant I think.
  6. Has the DHCP server either got a port/ip on each vlan or have the "ip helper" settings been put in on the draytek router? As @Aprice suggests, if a static IP works, then its dhcp not responding that's causing the problem.
  7. Seriously, LAPS is built for this type of application, Keeps things secure, and isnt as complex as it first looks.
  8. One for @mikeprice just in case @witch branches out!
  9. I used to do this, but with laptops and off site working it caused more problems than it solved. Turned off in Sept. What problem are you wanting to solve turning it on?
  10. Sock it to em @elsiegee40... @VeryPC_Nicole welcome.
  11. Can recommend the first two, doing the last one tonight.
  12. I made this change on our new s10 a week ago, the difference is amazing. 30% waits and 12-16 load ave (and box not working) Down to 5% and 6-8 load ave (box now working). So worth it if support suggest the swap.
  13. I have just updated my home network to a pair of Ruckus R500s in mesh mode running the latest Unleashed firmware. All was going well until I tried to wireless project a zoom meeting to the TV.... What worked on the old ruckus AP seems to fail on unleashed. I thought maybe client isolation had been turned on by default or something like that but that does not appear to be the case. Anyone hit anything similar and have any suggestions I can try?
  14. As @aicrd said, sounds like HTTPS interception. Have corrected the typo in the thread title.
  15. Thats what I had in mind. Assuming Salamander is then able to read and convert the card no you should be good to go. We populate pager with the card no for each user, then sync everything to that. NRS catering is "interesting" from that POV, but equitrac, Paxton, Inventry etc all work with a bit of scripting. I understand papercut can sync from AD as well?
  16. I wonder if you can export from papercut then import into ad. Would be quicker than re-registering them all!
  17. I think they will do it for me, I need to do 5 days in a row, and then probably weekly after that, I can't see them doing that given it has taken them several days to acknowledge a support email (that's not action....) hoping things have improved.
  18. Yes I have asked civica support, and will follow that up again. That does give me something to go on if I have do "hack" it myself! I believe bulk import of data is available on the engineers login but not for customers. I get they want to be careful of who does major changes but still.
  19. Has anyone got access to the bulk import tools to import Mifare card nos into Trust-E? With the current Covid situation, using biometrics could be seen as a infection problem, so we are wanting to move to cards. I suspect I need and NRS engineers logon (if anyone has one of these please don't post publicly, though a PM would be really useful). We are likely to be printing a lot of cards as students return to school, so a one off import does not cut this..
  20. Hide the boxes of New ones in a box out of the way, don't PAT them as they are new and not used... Any sign of damage on any IEC goes into the recycling. At 60p an item regular pat testing equipment not in use (so not going to get damaged, or electrocute someone) is a waste in my opinion. "New" cables should be tested as they are dispatched, so as long as they pass a visual should be safe to use.
  21. Just checking, you don't have impero installed do you? If so this creates a driver that blocks the serial no in wmi.
  22. PC with word, Excel and outlook installed (all of which are part of the Office Pro suite). I wonder if @Zoom7000 might be able to suggest a gmail fix.
  23. G suite is the google version of office, if you have gmail you are likely to have gsuite. SMTP is likely to be a pain to set up quickly. If you can find a machine with office Pro installed, and link outlook to gmail you could do mailmerge. Hopefully a G suite expert can give you more info than me.
  24. Was wondering if it was just us...
  25. It seems dead for me as well. My understanding is its a supplier issue again from what @ZeroHour has said. - - - Updated - - - It seems dead for me as well. My understanding is its a supplier issue again from what @ZeroHour has said.
