Just checked our EMBC connection, our school hosted website etc are all ok, but I can`t connect to embc`s webview or even their website! (This is from home) Maybe a fault in their server farm? Rob Keeling

Having got rid of outlook express etc, and moved our email to a squirrelmail system a few years ago, it has been asked if I could set something up for mailto: forms etc, and office`s send via email links. I could use thunderbird, but would really like to make it "auto configuring" as the settings are all the same bar the username. Has anyone done this? Rob Keeling

Yes, thats how I would do it. They are after a click and insert option, and find charmap can be a bit small and confusing. I have however just found mycharmap http://www.lincolnbeach.com/mycharmap.asp which can be resized. Will see what they think. Thanks Rob

We have a old site licence for Frkeys, which works brilliantly for our languages dept. I have been asked if they can have it on their own personal home computers (no) and can they give copies to pupils (no)!. Has anyone seen anything similar on a freeware basis? I know frkeys is only £15 per copy, but I can see staff baulking at that, let parents. Thanks Rob Keeling

Macromedia studio 8 stores its activation files in the all users profile. This is a change from Studio MX I think. Ended up installing one pc, creating a MSI with WininstallLE and rolling that to all pc`s as well as the programs. This is documented on appdeploy.com HTH Rob K

Found that Dreamweaver and Flash install from a standard administrator install (setup /a switch) however Fireworks seems to be miss behaving. I have been told contribute can play up a bit as well. appdeploy is a Excellent site! Rob K
