Hi, We've got this new Mitel system and I've managed to work most things out apart from one voicmail issue. We have a site mailbox that gets used if nobody is able to answer the call or at night. I've managed to make one phone flash if nobody is signed in but once the phone is logged in it doesn't flash. Is there any way to make phones flash whether logged in or not? Is there a way to make multiple phones flash? Thanks Edit: might have found one way and thats adding a message indicator key on their logins. That's almost there but not totally solved as we have admin moving between sites so we really need it on the phones so whoever logs in gets the message indicator for that site.

Looks like they have added the feature to show who's put graffiti and stuff in your town. You also get a new crusty quest. You then build the shuttle for 50k ad it's supposed to take you elsewhere. Havnt got the 50k yet though

Thanks Duke. Almost certain it's the xerox 6125 driver as we've had issues with all three computers connected to them. Contacted xerox today the driver is dodgy but they arnt interested as its out of warranty. Wouldn't touch another xerox as they have never been great. Didn't know win 7 have a print manager so will give that a try Monday.

Hi, We have a user who keep having issues with the print spooler crashing on them, no matter what ive tried the only way ive managed to fix it is to reinstall the machine. i've trie deleting C:\Windows\System32\spool\printers\* restarting print spooler. uninstallling paper cut. Checking the service dependencies Deleting the profile from the server and machine. This time it also seems to be stopping the antivirus real time file protection to. Sounds really dodgy but i cant find any viruses yet. Any ideas?

Hi We have a master WSUS server an a downstream server. On the WSUS upstram server i have checked all classifications and approved 144 updates. The downstream server doesnt have all the classifications checked and is only showing 18 approved updated. I am using the server replica mode as eventually i will have 5 replicas. Any ideas? Edit: Might have found the answer to the updates not showing up problem, its still downloading them. oops. Weve got a heap of downloads going so its taking ages. Still cant work out how to check all the classifications though, or if i need to.

If your DC is server 2008 R2 i can recommend the built in backup utility. Cant see why anyone would want anything else unless you want mliple schedules.

Any way to block it in your router? Or use software restriction policies in the GPO to disable the programs exe from running.

Hi, We have lots of folders in our home directory directory that are no longer linked to existing accounts. I've tried to find a script but they all seem to be for linux. Is there a way/script to delete these. The home folder names are identical to their usernames. Thanks

Hi, A few computers have a video as the screensaver. I installed live photo gallery to do it and used the screensaver option. I've just re-installed the machines and tried to set it up againg but just get the error "An error is preventing this slideshow from playing" I've tried googling it but cant seem to find the answer. The video is in .mp4 format. Any ideas? Any windows updates that you know that could cause it? Thanks

Hi again, Have just asked in another topic about stenciles but now im looking into the engraver itself. Currently we have a 6w 11,000rpm engraver which works but takes a little while to get the job done in the metal cases. I started looking at the basic Dremel Engraver but have just seen that homebase currently have the Dremel 3000 on offer for £15 more. Would the dremel engraver be a upgrade to our old one or would it be the same? The Dremel engraver has more power but spins slower. Would the Dremel 300 be overkill?

That sound cool! Unfortunatly not though. Weve got 100 stencils from when we used to use the chemical stuff and they seem to work for two pc's. Only problem is that its got a incorrect post code on now. Will carry on using these for now and then might go free hand.

Hi, We were going to go for the chemical markers to mark our equipment but just thought of using a engraver to do it. Appart from leaving colour behind it essentially does the same thing but on all materials. The only problem is that my writing looks rubbish so wondered if anyone has any ideas on stencils we could use that wont disappear after a few uses. Any ideas? Thanks

Impero or ab tutor control here. One thing ive just found out. If you switch the pc of at the wall and then back on again, WOL wont work until you start the machine and windows and then shut it down again. Thats with Dells anyway.

Fireworks actually not as pants as I thought. Couldn't see them properly on the iPhone, iPad is better .

Just brought myself one of the Corsair vengeance 1500 headsets for the 5.1 sound effect. WOW! They manage to do 5.1 surround better than my £400+ separate system. Fast and furious five first bit with the cars and bus is awesome. Unlike normal headphones they don't sound like the speakers are right next to your head and several times I had to take them off as I thought the sound was coming through the 5.1 PC speakers I've got.

Same with the fireworks. Bit pants when you set them off though.

Installing a machine now to take a image . Would have liked to get the other way working as its more like installing straight from the disk but this way seems easier. I'm thinking of installing office to before taking the image. Are there any issues with keys and sysprep.
