Glad I'm not alone then. I think as you get older it gets worse as it tends to just be a repeat of last year. The only thing that has changed in 15 years is we go over to one family member as he can't make it to ours any more. When I win the lottery on Wednesday I'm going to book a holiday I think. I am a bit happier though as I found I get my office back to myself so can play music, clean the room properly, be anti social when I want to be.

Sounds promising. Thanks. Managed to grab a free os x server redemption code online so saved £14. Apple were giving server away free to developers a while back and some people got a few codes and put them online. They are single use so take a bit of finding. Apple says its ok to use.

Hi, We have some new new ipads just come in and im trying to find th best way to configure them. Im trying to get Cisco Meraki to work as it seems the best option but the LEA are having troubles unblocking it so im looking at the apple server as a alternative. We have a few different sites linked by the LEA's system (WAN). Each site has its own ip. Ive tried setting up printers at one site and they arnt available at other sites so im guessing the LEAs gear is blocking broadcasts. Anyone know if this would be the same with Apple Server and its profile comfigurator? Would need to be able to specify a server ip i guess in the ipads.

Got asked if I planned to put a Christmas screensaver up this year as it's normally up by now. I tend to do it for every occasion like Christmas/haloween etc. I never get any feedback about it so said I'm not going to bother this time when someone asked. As localzuk says check the registry stuff before you create the msi and test it on a pc first. When i was first looking to do this i created a msi and tested it ot and it cause some side-by-side error which stopped lots of things working.

Looks like ea has messed up again (after bf4). After it explains about the new system it then locks your ipad. Now can't even open the game as it just locks the screen

Ever since bad company 2 when I started playing they have supposedly been to blame so a happy goodbye from me. I've played a few games on release day inc the new gt6 and although some still a bit of work most have been playable but every bf game has had massive errors. Frankieonpc did a really good video the other day called you suav bro. In It he said that some pc errors are down to all the different hardware but there is one weapon on the xbox one (or ps3) that when you fire you crash the game, no hardware excuses for this, that is just poor testing. I'm no software engineer since my Uni days but back then we learnt the basics and advanced bit of testing and even the basic testing should cover that a gun can fire and cause damage.

Apparently its all fixed. Good afternoon, As of this morning, we were experiencing a problem with the SCEP certificate, something that affected the enrollment process of devices in Systems Manager. This had our highest priority, and is now solved. This has been the main problem for people trying to enroll mobile clients the last 24 hours, so my suggestion is that you try now, and get back to me if it still does not work. If you have any additional questions regarding this case, please let me know. We'll close this case in 4 days if we don't hear from you.

From what I've read they are still using the original Meraki companies servers etc. I wonder if they are using the same staff or brought in their own crew. Seems to be taking a long time for a critical bit of the service to be fixed. After all the MDM is free to advertise how good the product is. They've now got a whole month to fix though because it's 3:30 and I'm signing out for Christmas and not going to care until January.

Bit relieved thats its not just me then. They might have to wait for their shiny new iPads.

Hi, Just trying to get Cisco Meraki's MDM to work. Last week it seem to join fine but new ipads for a while now just get a SCEP invalid response error. Have tried on wireless and 3g incase its a filter thing and on supervised and unsupervised devices. Tried putting a case in with Cisco but nothing back yet and todays my last day before a long holiday so trying to get it sorted. Any ideas?

Hi, Staff member has been disciplined for altering marks without any evidence so would like to find something to help them out. Is there a event log that records changes by staff so we can prove it either way? Many thanks

Cached profiles with offline files enabled for their home directory. Sorry, that was my guess. Thought it may be searching the wireless that is was joined to for a Dns or networking device and not timing out quick enough. Have tried using local account for outside use but they couldn't cope with multiple accounts.

Hi, We have staff laptops that have to be joined to the domain for some programs/documents. These laptop are regulary taking out side of school for teaching at pupils homes etc but we are finding really slow loging times when windows cant find the network but joined to a wireless network. Ive so far set in GPO: Startup policy processing wait time - 10 Seconds Always wait for the network at computer startup and logon - Disabled

Hi, Our LEA finance system uses Citrix. This allows our staff desktop access to a LEA computer. I have no experience with any of this but trying to fix it as it hasnt been working for 2 weeks. It suddenly stopped working. Weve been asked to install the XenAppClient and ICAWebwrapper onto the computers which we have done. It seems when they click the Finance system link it loads up the XenApp bit and asks for the user and pass. They then get onto the next screen which should open up the citrix client that displays the LEA desktop. This doesnt happen, it just gives a loading sign and but nothing pops up from the XenApp page. Any ideas? I've tried diabling activex filtering and adding the server ip address into trusted sites. Ive tried firefox and also because my manager faffs and accidently uninstalled the antivirus (stupid) wev tried without one.

Yeah, not sure about the game still being in the library. It's gone back today, will see what happens in a month. Going to for for gran turismo instead. Still think the ps3 version is more fun.

Latest Gran Turismo 6 is out 6th December. Supposed to a massive first day update which fixes and adds loads of stuff. What version are people getting? Not sure if I should go for the anniversary edition or save £20 and go for the standard from amazon. How lone did it take to get 1m credits in GT5? That's the biggest advantage to me of the anniversary edition.

Yep,1-2 days is now at around 4-5 now for them to release the patch. Do remember the same thing with either 2 or 3. Dice is a bit useless.
