Hi there, I have a PC that is being added to our network which although being a part of the domain, can not have any access to any network drives. A logon script is applied by GPO (from somewhere) so that by default any member of the domain is mapped with drives 'X' and 'Y'. Is there a way I can prevent an individual machine on the network picking up these drives? I tried researching the issue online but did't get far, as I believe that the GPO does not make a local copy of the script. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Dan.

Hi guys, I'm trying to help a colleague remotely, she is having an issue with opening/saving Word documents. She is part of a school network and uses a temporary user profile when working from home. Normally all is well however she can't open/save any Word documents. The problem seems to lay in C:\Users\'Username'\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Office with the MSO2057.acl file which is an AutoCorrect file. It is suggesting Word does not have enough memory to work when she tries to save. The error message exactly is 'Word has insufficient memory. Do you want to save Document 1 and RescuedDocument 2?' - This also prevents her opening existing files etc... I'm limited to what I can do as I'm obviously not connected to the network, I have a feeling the issue is to do with permissions but I'm not sure. Has anyone ever had an issue/experience with the MSO2057.acl file and is there anything I can do to fix this without being connected to the network (working on a temporary profile)? Hi guys, Does anyone know of any permission settings through Group Policy that might restrict a user to be able to export a movie in Windows Movie Maker? The user can use MM freely and their video clips can play through preview in MM however when it comes to exporting a movie the file has audio but no video, just a black screen. The reason I think it may be permissions is that I can use MM fine on the same machine when I am logged in as admin. Any ideas, or known fixes for this? Kind regards, Dan.

Ah, that's what I was afraid of. Yeah I have a copy, it's all safe but just really would like to find the culprit! I can only identify the time/date of when it was deleted, just not the user.

Hi Guys, As above... I need to identify a student who has deleted some files from a shared folder, is there a way I can identify who last made changes to the folder? Many thanks.

All sorted! Thanks for your recommendation. The only reason it wouldn't work as I had planned was because I was using the free version. I tried the free trial for the Pro version and it worked a treat - I'll probably purchase this now. Nice one!

I really do like this solution, it 'seem's very easy to do - although I'm stuck at one point. I've ran discovery, it's picked up all of the changes through installation. However the output has given me a folder containing the changes. There is an .msi file there but it outputted a mere 16kb and does not work. Am I missing something or do I need to go through Smart Packager too once discovery has finished? Many thanks for everyone's help so far.

Hi there, I've Googled the hell out of this topic but can't seem to find a solution (I'm fairly new to ICT so please bare with me). I need to install an .EXE setup to approximately 200 machines, it's for MIT App Inventor (installation .exe). I clutched at straws and tried to give it an .MSI wrapper but of course no luck. Is there a way I can deploy this software in an .EXE format without physically installing it on individual machines? Many thanks for your help.
