Sweet Potato and Spinach Bake ( or any other veg you fancy such as parsnip) ingredients: 2 tbsp sunflower oil, plus extra for greasing 1 large red onion, halved and thinly sliced 1-2 cloves garlic, crushed 160g bag ready washed baby spinach 1kg sweet potatoes (750g peeled weight), thickly sliced 400ml semi-skimmed milk Pinch of cayenne 100g Mature Cheese, - could be low fat if you want Method Pre-heat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas 6. Grease a 1L ovenproof dish. Heat the oil in a frying pan and cook the onion over a medium heat until soft and turning golden. You can use a spray such as Frylight if you want to save a few calories Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add the spinach and stir-fry until it wilts. Remove from the heat and set aside. Put the potatoes in a pan with the milk, cayenne and a pinch of salt. Cover and heat until simmering. Simmer for 7-8 minutes, then season. Drain, reserving the milk. Arrange half the potatoes over the bottom of the dish. Top with the spinach mixture and half the cheese, then cover with the rest of the potatoes. Pour in the milk. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top and bake for 40 minutes until golden. For a non-veggie version, add bacon pieces

@jahilton2002 I don't have the "classic administrative templates" setting. I tried to download the Chrome ones but whatever I did didnt work even though I followed a nice tutorial on YouTube!

Can you analyse what it is you like about teaching? There are other things you can do that have a teaching element - such as training or consultancy. If it is the children - then you really don't have an alternative - maybe you should bite the bullet and do the PGCE or whatever. You may THINK it isn't what you think you want - but you won't actually know until you try. It does occur to me that if you only need to match your IT salary, chances are that once qualified you could work as a part-time teacher which would give you a bit more freedom. We have it with Capita and after a few teething problems, which were easily ironed out, it seems to have been working OK.

The HT would like to know if there is a windows version of this game. I can see Apple and Android but not windows. Does anyone know if there is what I want - or a web-based version? Failing that, a very similar program for windows? thanks

You have to delete all languages, and keep UK, which will be your system language. Then you will open that language (Options), and look at "Input method". Then you can remove what you want and add what you want. The one on the top will be your default and it will NOT switch back when using some programs. or maybe you are hitting Alt shift or something which changes the language?

Yes, me too - I know a couple of people who did it and it was straightforward. I would recommend contacting your bank/mortgage lender etc just to check what they will need to see when you do it. Also re passport etc

We looked at them and went for the lenovo Thinkcentre 23 and thinkvision monitor - the computer slots into the back of the monitor. We have had them coming up 2 years and are pretty happy now. We did have a huge issue at the beginning with monitors - took me a YEAR to sort (probably because i had got them through a distributor rather than a reseller and i was left to deal with the issue alone - not my choice BTW. ) We have ended up with three extra computers and monitors though - for our trouble.. Nobody else has ever had the same issue as me apparently and tbf they did sort it once the message had got through. I send endless screen shots of what was happening but i think I wasnt believed. If I could have got someone out here to SEE the problem I think it would have been resolved a lot earlier. The ones that worked have worked well. We have had the odd HD go - replacement organised within a day or two. I like them. They are robust and sleek looking.
