That's what I said - apparently room is so tight they won't even fit that in.
-
Has to be touchscreen too
-
21 might be OK - 23 is too big. It is for the computer control on a drilling system simulator - my daughter is a product/industrial designer and they are trying to make their "portable" systems lighter by using an all in one or tablet
-
Does anyone know where I could get a 19 in (ish) all in one PC or tablet? Has to be Windows
-
I set up the copiers so that you couldnt print in colour without a code - so at least people had to think about it. It worked well. Until the HT disabled all the codes
-
Same here. Although our other Toshiba copier still scans to file fine

Simple here too. PCs are "PC-1" etc Staff laptops are "stafflap-25" or "cover-3" Children's laptops are "laptop-1" I don't name so that you know who it belongs to as laptops get swapped about all the time The inventory tells me which room they are in. There weren't many room numbers here - and classrooms are always changing names due to the teachers moving about, so I took matters into my own hands and named the rooms myself. Got the Finance Manager - who does the main inventory for the school - on side, and now the rooms are permanently numbered

As a side issue, can I ask about what responsibility we have, other than assurances from the company in question, to see and check what is happening to our data which is held in the SIMS cloud?

Helo All I have created a new thread with a poll (in the same area as this one) called Edubytes South Central Meet Please have a look and vote
-
Now there's an idea.. @AJWhite1970
-
Right - so we will start looking at that first week of holidays - 24-27 July I have no idea how to do a poll for this....halp? Do I need to start a new thread @elsiegee40 ?
-
So maybe we should be planning ahead for after the end of term in July? Give us more time to sort it out?
-
Thursday of half term? But not at Andrew's in Salisbury. Where else would be good?
-
@elsiegee40 Do you want to do a new poll as to where? I can't seem to edit or remove the original one
-
Is it time to think about a repeat? But where? @AJWhite1970 @elsiegee40 @BKGarry @LeMarchand @Dan_ATR @Oaktech @Adams_dad @DalekSec @DJ-1701 @newpersn @The_Oracle @Tammie @GrumbleDook @ [MENTION=46468]ICTLady @sarahstacey @Andrew_C @CrazyK1tten and anyone else who lives somewhere in the South Central area

This^ Moved to ESET Not had a problem (yet?)
-
Yes, I realise that now I have looked at the ride.
-
If you are used to cycling on roads then maybe the experience of being out there with all that metal whizzing past you won't terrify the leathers off you. In which case I would probably go for a bike, a 125 or similar that has some power but is cheap to buy and run. I would learn to drive anyway - an important life skill that will always be useful. You might need to borrow the school minibus to transport some new kit or something like that. I learned without a car to practice in - I just had to have a few more lessons.
-
I think it was a very sad, and unfortunate accident. I am very surprised that the ride doesn't have seatbelts but i think it is unreasonable to blame the school. 11 year olds are perfectly capable of understanding and obeying rules. She would probably have been OK if she didnt bang her head. 11 year olds walk happily to school, crossing roads and dealing with all sorts of hazards. They aren't babies!

@thimon I really wish I could be more positive about this, but you are probably on a hiding to nothing...I have done this in the past...and most of the staff either don't read it or do read it and ignore everything i say
-
Story was weak, yes, but I liked the film and the comedy
-
I loved it too
