Whilst you still can, just set up the store for business and don't approve anything, or just what you need, onenote, whiteboard etc. The store app is required for lots of the builtin things to update. Calculator, whiteboard etc... Use applocker to restrict access to the appx packages rather than remove them too

That's exactly it. Connect the mixer via USB (have to check that you actually get a usb one), that then becomes the computers sound card. Plug your speakers/external mics into it and you can mix it all with your physical faders. PMT are definitely worth calling and speaking to if you're looking for the right kit, they've got some really knowledgeable guys working for them

You're looking for what's called an audio interface. Zubzero/Behringer makes some cheap ones which will fit the bill.

I'd reflash it with newer firmware, load it on a USB, stick it in and reboot and it automatically does the rest. You can get more options by using the code on the remote, i think there's a firmware roll back option in there too along with more diagnostics middle button, left ,right, up, down middle button

When they're up for replacement, I'll be getting a similar setup but with more modern components. edit: Due to the spec we've been able to explore virtual reality, blender and some pretty decent autoCAD modelling. Which if we didn't go for a spec that high I doubt we would have been able to do.
