Not heard of senso. Smoothwalls filtering is pretty good, been using it for years now and not had issues. Had to disable web filtering in Sophos as that caused some confusion as they're two separate lists of sites that get blocked.

With the new licensing, as others have said it's by student. For every 4 student licenses you get one staff license. We have a high ratio of staff/students so put enough licenses to cover the staff, which turned out to be 1000 student licenses required when we don't even have 500. 1 year - £3,200 2 year - £3,040 3 year - £2,880 Almost 10k less than the old licensing model!

It should, but look at how many large orgs use Samsung and KNOX. can you imagine the fallout if Samsung rolled it out in their version of Android? It would be carnage.

For CS6, I actually had weekly scripts that ran to clear users appdata/adobe folders. Not had any such issue since migrating to CC

Unfortunately, it is the latter. I left it all default, if people have a license to use CC, then let them at it.

Option 2. We've found that so far, it's only Pixels that require it. Other manufacturers didn't add that small part to their flavour of Android.

Last surface docks I bought were around £120 each. What's everyone else paying? Our usual problem with them is people unplugging, then replugging and the monitor order gets switched - Quite rare though Have had some weird problems with them though, mainly due to using DP-DVI adapters and such. Ended up buying monitors that support DP.

Surface dock 2's are DP and USB-C. Replaced all faculty office PCs with the docks, docks and screens in staff room too. For the classrooms though, I went with OPS modules in the screens rather than having the teacher run everything off an external device, at least teacher can leave emails/MIS open without it being on the screen for the class to read.
