I'm going to drop into the webinar tomorrow to see but I read it like this too. So presumably after Easter school won't do it anymore and staff will do self tests too. It is a bit weird as they were asking if we needed more flow tests the other week. We have kids on site so we'll probably keep mass testing those.

I put one up today.. I intended to remove the old cameras altogether but ended up just removing the old camera and jamming the new one in the housing... the coax receiver just about fits in.

I've just pulled out an old fasttrace system and put in an eBay hikvision DVR with me hard drives...I needed the coax connections did went for an older model I really wanted to add our internal cameras too but they are very old axis cameras (some 206s) and won't play nice. They are running on icatcher which I've had for 10 years but I'm not sure if it's still being developed. Just got a coax to IP conveyors too which work really well and mean I don't have to run new network cable. Sorry.. Hijacking the thread a bit.

Done a weeks worth of testing and our Google Sheet works fine, copy and pasting (adding a Edge addon to enable pasting) doesn't take that long but we are only doing about 25 pupils. Hopefully bulk uploading will arrive before schools are fully back. Staff seem to got their heads round registering themselves.

Hi, A massive longshot but here goes. I've upgraded some cameras in our car park that were put up by our outgoing security company. They are Samsung SNB-5004 cameras, I updated the firmware on 3 of them and 2 of them haven't come back up. I got up a ladder and have got them in my office but they aren't coming back up even after trying a reset.. no IP and the smart viewer software isn't finding them. Was hoping maybe they updated from the SD card but nope.

I'll have to catch this, really wasn't impressed with the other 2 you mentioned.

Looks like they are going to pause it anyway. I really can't see them being able to do junior age kids anyway in the future.

Hi, Are any of you involved in Peardeck at your school. Its something I've been looking at and it seemed fine.... costs $1500 to buy for our site so not sure if its worth that.

I saw this too in the webinar but didn't want to say as it seemed stupid.

Am I right in thinking there isn't a way to upload in bulk? We use electronic consent to copy and pasting would be more accurate anyway. Also it's asking for the first line of the address which isn't on the consent form. Can't really complain, it's a pandemic and they are still playing catchup. Might try an addon to edge to allow pasting..

Just checking but it does look like the Lite registration doesn't allow pasting on some of the cells.. so registering kids is going to be a pain.

I imagine the lite registration just needs the registration card with the barcode on it and a positive or negative on it. So they come in, register at the first desk and are given their registration card with the other 2 barcodes... they pass it on to desk 2 who does the test and passes them onto desk 3 for the results and stick a barcode on the test and carries it out. When the test results come in they put a marker pen mark on the test and on the registration card which can go in a box for processing later... Desk 3 could probably do the results uploading using an iPad too as that only takes a few seconds. I presume there's no risk with the cards being removed and processes late.

Glad I'm not the only one... the lite registration part is going to be a big job although it does say you can do them later We were going to start testing this week but we are way off.. especially with the remote learning kicking in.

I've made one horizontally in excel but it will go on forever.. I like the idea of the vlookups. I had the consent and the testing on one sheet to try and streamline it. I suppose we aren't monitoring who is or isn't being tested too so gaps are irrelevant. How are dealing with the lite registration? On one bit I've read they want the subjects to do it (on their smart phones) but it should match what's on the consent form... another is they want us to help them do it. Also (stupid question) if they get a new barcode each test do they have to go through the Lite stuff from scratch each time? We've got alot of key workers in today but we aren't ready to start testing yet.

Its not the consent form, all that's sorted. In the webinar it mentions a XLS spreadsheet to record the tests.
