I've had some roaming issues but I put it down to random mac setting on my phone, sometimes it just doesn't want to connect at all. Had an issue in a corridor today where everything looked ok according to the controller when when I stood underneath it I couldn't connect. Had to power reboot the switch and the AP's and its fine now.

It would have to be amazing for me to pay on top of the subscription fee. I was stung by Mulan which was a bit mnnnaarrr. Tenet is out on Friday on Sky Movies which I've held out paying for on PPV so looking forward to that.

Mitchells vs the machines Really good family movie, managed to keep my 5 and 9 yr. olds sat still through it all. Lots of clever jokes for us grown ups too. Netflix seem to do family films really well... not sure about the other stuff they throw out. Without Remorse Run of the mill... zero charisma in the lead. Needed a Arnie or Sly from 20 years ago... or even a Brice Willis.

I loved this film back in the day... revisited it and it was very strange.

Coronavirus: General discussion (see opening post for rules)

We've lost 4 year groups now and we didn't lose any on the first lockdown. We are in the worst bit of the country at present though. -
This guy pretty much summed up by view, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. (may contain strong potty words)

The preachy last episode of Falcon was awful, I imagine we are going to have to get used to this from now on. Didn't mind the irregulars, seen worse.

I got through 10 minutes then skipped to the end to see what happens but I'll take your word for it. I tried the Jui Jitsu film too and did the same thing... quantity over quality.

Yes SAML, was very easy. Not the slickest logging into Chromebooks but everything else is straightforward.. just got to leave all the windows open too.

Last time I looked there wasn't which is why I ended up using Microsoft as the G-Suite security provider. When they sign into Google with their username it redirects to the Microsoft logon page and uses those settings.

Brilliant trailer... so I've lowered my expectations to the floor. Really don't understand the appeal of Harley Quinn.

I buy alot from eBay and sell stuff for school...usually at a loss with the postage. There's nectar points available too which I know isn't allowed so no one should ever do that.

Ours finished today, we've got packets of 3 tests for the kids. According to the webinar last week they should continue testing over the holidays so they need at least 3 kits. -
It's on next Friday on sky movies...240 minutes long.

Me and the missus finished it the other week. We had to taskmaster between episodes as its so miserable.... Although what did I expect

I had mine yesterday and I'm 47. I have no idea why I was called by my doctors (I did go the other week so maybe the know something I don't). It was the Oxford one, had a very sweaty and shaky night but feel fine now just a warm sensation in my arm. -
COVID Self Testing Kit - Reporting Back
Simcfc73 replied to Manny-Tech's topic in How do you do....it?
Has anyone managed to order more home testing kits for their school? We only were given 54 with a staff count of over 100 so we need more but I can only find where to order the lateral kits for testing in school. Bit late now, bit worries our next delivery will be short too. -

Does it validate the spreadsheet your uploading and then not accept them or at a different stage, ours seems to be fine with pasting but wanted to check. -
COVID Self Testing Kit - Reporting Back

You can copy and paste into the upload form, it just validates the fields. You've just got to make sure it matches what's expected. I've changed mine now so my original one matches the columns for the upload one... After a days testing I can just filter the ones with a record, copy it into the DfES one and it uploads fine. I think along the line it's messed something up as the drop down for male/female isn't working but you have to put these in exactly or you get the error. -
I'd say a capital budget... but I haven't had one for years now so plenty of celotape to keep the ageing equipment running. Oh and PDQ

Series 5 didn't pull me in like the others.. it did feel like it was limited due to Covid but that might be because I was expecting so much more. Don't do reading so haven't read the book.

Form/Database to record Covid Testing
Simcfc73 replied to Wirral_Wonderer's topic in How do you do....it?
I've just done our first excel template upload. Obviously you should follow their advice but... I pasted ours in as plain text and it works, some of the fields are drop downs so it has to validate what has been inputted (like the ethnicity) I thought there might be an issue as I pasted in the emails as plain text but when you type it then it shows it as a hyperlink but its fine. Its actually quite nice. Only issue I have is one of our barcode reader add a ~ at the front and I haven't managed to get rid of it but I have a spare and you can't upload the spreadsheet the day before as the date of test is validated too. Strangely you can upload the day before if you do individual uploads. Seems alot of work for 3 tests.
