Hi, I made a massive booboo by updating a server to server 2020 which had a smtp relay on it.... which doesn't start up now and crashes. I decided to replicate it on an old server but I'm getting AUTH errors each time I try and send emails. I've got a connector on the O365 domain.. set the correct settings in IIS SMTP and have a cert on the TLS page. Bit confused

I use Classroom Manager addon to sheets as well as GAM. I stupidly gave staff the option of keeping their classes or archiving them so its been a bit of a pain.

Hi, I've had FreePBX for a while now running pretty much without any interaction. I recently ran the update and now my old Grandstream phones are showing a username and password prompt on the display... nothings been changed except the updates. The phones still work, and you can get out of it by pressing cancel but staff are going to panic when they come in... and it seems to come back after a while too. Anyone else seen this?

We've got a gen1 and its terrible...pretty much use it as a tv now with kids practising writing on occasions.

Hi, I've been swapping some projectors for TV's and hitting a snag. In one room where there is a VGA and HDMI output the VGA monitor only works when the TV is on. In another room, I have dual monitors and a powered HDMI splitter (one to tv and one to the second monitor)... the hdmi monitor is really flaky unless the TV is on. I probably should know this but I've only just started using TV's in classrooms. All have graphics cards in the PC's.

I didn't install them as shared in the XML so they just auto activate SSO (well they did) It just did the same for my admin account but at the prompt after I put in my username another box appears which then signs me in automatically..... this doesn't appears as a std user I'm wondering if its a Sophos firewall issue again, I had something similar with EDGE Sync until I found a Azure URL to bypass that wasn't on the Sophos KB. I did pull all the Sophos stuff in last year so there may be new ones.

Hi, Randomly users are getting activation prompts for my O365 installs. Nothing has changed as far as I can see but I am struggling to work out why. I've tried the activation tool from Microsoft but it showed no errors, they have licences assigned correctly and the PC is Azure joined. It shows them signed into Word etc.. but not activated. They put in their email address and the prompt goes but its still not activated. I've tried fiddler to see if anything is showing as blocked but nothing. Anyone offer some tips? I thought it was 1 user but a staff member said 4 machines did it also at the end of the day. Cheers

I moved from Smoothwall to XG a couple of years ago and I am well chuffed. It does take a bit of getting your head round the new terminology and the reporting is ok (whereas SW is abysmal) so I'd recommend getting fastvue. Your welcome to pop over and have a look if you want.

Sorry I mean I just allow it to bypass everything and go out on the internet. I usually do just leave it but its probably not good practise.

I do this, I add it to the bypass so I can download and cache it on the controller then I can roll it out... then remove it. Hopefully V5 for the AC-PRO's will be out soon... its out on the LR and Lites already.

I don't use the quarantine though as I have a third party spam system. When I look at the recommended settings its this rule that seems to have been enabled. High confidence spam detection action Default - Move to Junk Email folder - Apr 8, 2021 10:03 PM - Quarantine message - Adopt Also loads of external mail is being flagged.

Mine is playing up massively... loads of stuff in the High Confidence Phish folder.
