Just watched the last ever (yeah right) episode of The Expanse... This final series was really good, no idea what the kids on the planet was for but I'm sure there will be some sort of spin off... hopefully.

Hi, I'm thinking of moving away from Fusemail.. no particular reason as I quite like it but it's alot of money and I may get a better price elsewhere. They do email backup which I haven't got yet but I really like the idea of it all on one place. Does anyone use Barracuda Email Protection.. it seems to tick the boxes too I may end up dumping it and just going for O365 protection and using VEEAM for mailbox backup.. although the fusemail solution seems much better. (IMHO) Any other suggestions welcome.

Just got back from Spiderman.......still computing if I like it or not. No spoilers obviously but William D is awesome.

We are still using an old version of Dragon... a couple of versions back. We did look at updating but we currently have a site license which costs lots in the new pricing structure. I did like dictate but we stuck with Dragon.

I tried to go whole hog and install office LTSC but Outlook wouldn't connect to O365 so I out 2019 back on. Done about 60 installs now.... it does seem really speedy but its probably just the new install feel.

I got a free trail of Apple TV so started watching some of their shows. Annoyingly the trial should run till January but has messed up somehow so I can't watch anything anymore. Thought Ted Lasso was brilliant.. was really looking forward to watching Finch and thought Invasion was pretentious twaddle. (like a lot of the stuff on APPLE Tv)

Yeah it does feel a bit like that. They obviously bought some nice drones and want to use them as much as they can for the scenery.

Got a MAK key by calling them, I'm sure I've just been too eager to get it and its not online yet. Adobe installed perfectly so all good.

I think its just historically been witnessed (and it's based on a template from ISBA). We've always had 2 signatories in case of parents splitting up. I was thinking of just getting 2 contracts... one for each parent.

Hi, Has anyone looked at digitizing the admission process fully including when parents sign a contract.. more specifically in a private school where the contracts would be legally binding. The contract we have requires witnessing and a second parent to sign so its not really conducive to digitizing... unless each parent signs their own.

Quite enjoyed the Expanse (binge watched it in work during the lockdown last year alongside breaking bad).... I thought the last season was rubbish though. Same with Snowpiercer... first season was good but Sean Bean is... cliched

Only bit I enjoyed was 'Get over here' which made me smile.

Been watching it for 3 days now (you can tell how gripping it is). I imagine the pitch went something like... you know the funny guy from army of the dead.. how about we make a back story about him and drag it out for 2 hours.

Changed my mind, seems fine when I shifted the menu over to where it should be. Wont be going near my network unless we win the lottery to get some new kit and I ain't mixing and matching.

Hi, Has anyone recommend a screen reader that works with Google Sheets. We usually just use Natural Reader but it doesn'e like Sheets and I've tried quite a few and none of them see the text. I can highlight it but nothing.. tried the built in one too but to no avail. Thanks in advance.

Your going to get polar opposite opinions about LTSC. I'm at an inpasse as I can't get Adobe cloud to run on LTSC 2019... I can get older versions but no updates (and they uninstall everything). So my choices are .. the next version of LTSC... and maybe hit similar hurdles... 21H1 or jump to W11. I've enjoyed running LTSC and I don't miss the store, Xbox and candy rush but I may need to.

I bought a freepbx box and second user grandstream phones. Very cheap. Probably use 1% of Freepbx though... we only really use ring groups.
