1. Odd, apart from two devices that had power issues that has resolved any boot errors I've had before.
2. Have you reinstalled via USB?
3. Our PVS Licence came to me for filing and I noticed there was a note about their streaming service. I've registered and had a look around, it looks good. https://www.intofilm.org/films
4. Same for me.
5. We only have 2 Ricoh copiers and toners have been fine. Account manager told me recently they are working on 7 month lead time for some devices though!
6. Basically, yes, that's it I would and do promote individual usernames and passwords as it's part of their learning to use devices.
7. Make sure you use the Lidl app. We get some sort of discount most weeks and because we spend over £200 a month there we get £10 or £12 vouchers a month too
8. CPOMS here, not worried about SSO as I like the idea that it has a different username and password. Although, most staff save their password to Google anyway. I really like CPOMS and it has worked well here and at my last school. A few issues with syncing data from iSAMS but they look to have got on top of this over the past 6 months.
9. Interesting to see what comes from this, it's something I have looked at. Point one specifically. One option that might be possible is finding a way to tap in via the API in iSAMS in the same way Wonde pulls data. The welcome emails could be done via creating an email template that only needs a few things changing such as email address etc before sending. That would only take a few clicks to send that as and when
10. Yes, but we have logging / restrictions in place. Basic PaperCut gives me the controls needed.
11. True, will look at that, although getting 4s at the moment is tricky, I have some on back order. PaperCut
12. Thanks for the info and thoughts. The reason we still have a few Windows devices is because of specific software. Next step for me is to move the current machines to non-domain. Given who is using them I'm happy to manually set them up and give the user limited rights. I'll get the router or sophos firewall to handle dns and dhcp. PaperCut won't run on our copiers (only have 2) and 4 other small printers. Might look at giving @ICTDirect_Dave a shout and get a small machine with raid just to run that. Running a smaller, less powerful device would be much more eco friendly plus I could prob sell the current server and rack too.
13. Could, but I'm not sure if it's worth it when we are 95% Google. Thinking about it, I only have 5 Windows machines
14. DC (handful of users who have windows) Print server - PaperCut Errr, that's about it now.
15. Not that I'm aware of, but you did remind me of someone I know who runs a printing shop, I know he does not stock cameras, but I've asked.
16. Bumping this... Anyone got anything to add to this? We're down to a single Windows server but it's due for replacement and I'm trying to think if I should replace it or if there is an alternative.
17. Before I start a new topic elsewhere, I thought I'd ask here first. I have a Canon EOS 2000d that will not power on. Tired different batteries, tried a few combinations button pressing and nothing. So, next step is to send it off to be looked at, any recommendations? Thanks
18. Using GAMADV-XTD3 gam user [email protected] copy drivefile drivefolderid recursive copytopfolderpermissions false copyfilepermissions false copysubfolderpermissions false parentid destinationdrivefolderid
19. Potential NSFW - viewer discretion Watched this the other day, not laughed this hard for a long time. Been a fan of theirs for 20'odd years and although this 'film' isn't necessarily brand new fresh stuff, I still found it great.

21. A window! Daylight and ideally fresh air make a big difference.
22. I've copied folders (including their subfolders) from one user to another using GAMADV-XTD3
23. I've been looking at getting some spare / replacements. Jack @VeryPC suggested i-tec chargers at what I thought was a reasonable price, although I haven't actually ordered any yet!
24. I have this too. During bad spells, I get pins and needles in my ring and pinky fingers on my right hand for days. I've been through the GP and referral (March 2020) and had tests done on my nerves. They wired me up and sent electronic pulses though my arm and hand, it made my hand move on it's own! Turns out I have nerve damage in my elbow. Because of covid nothing else happened with it. I'm now on the list to be looked at again (reminds me, I need to call them today). The plan is steroid injections and see how they work. Otherwise it will be surgery. As a work around, I've started using my mouse with my left hand. Also, I use a keyboard wrist support under my elbow for a few days as this tends to help.
25. I've seen this too. I expect it's because user 1 has delegate access to finance@ account. Email is sent to finance@ and therefor the permissions of that email/attachment are for finance@ to open but it's actually user 1 who is accessing it. I have a similar problem running school cover. I have delegate access to cover@ and staff share their work with that but when I try and open the work it errors. The workaround for this is I ask staff to change the permissions to 'anyone in this organisation' before sharing.
