  1. Easier to just download the file and deploy it out.
  2. Yes 1566 was for 1903/1909, 1567 for 2004, 1568 if your on 1803, anything older and well.. it's out of the support window really. Our stations already had 908 as we only pulled 808 from deployment
  3. Well I installed the hotfix patch on a station that did not already have 5000808 installed, and printing to Kyocera Type 3 drivers was all happy. So far doing a check for additional updates online still has not pulled 5000808 to might not be that MS has re-released it yet, or not needed since it was a 400mb patch in the first place.
  4. Think I'll balk at that one @mikeprice.
  5. All our students will have had 3 tests completed in school by the end of the week, and on their 3rd test they are given the home testing box to take with them which has 7 tests in it for the next 2 and a bit weeks. I imagine we will then have to issue out another batch at that point if testing is still being done at home.
  6. Its package_for_ServicingStack~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~XXXXXXX From a CMD session run as Admin, if you run the following command you will get a list of the patches applied with the correct version number at the end dism /online /get-packages /format:table
  7. Logon script, not start up Users will need to restart the computer for it to complete. You can remove the norestart switch if you wish to force it but that might upset your users
  8. Wusa only works if you are running it once logged in to the workstation Otherwise via logon script is a viable option start /wait /min DISM.exe /Online /Remove-Package /PackageName:Package_for_RollupFix~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~18362.1440.1.7 /quiet /norestart has been working for other schools in our MAT who don't have a SCCM server. that will uninstall 5000808 on Windows 10 1909.
  9. Well this was a 4 year old post so assume they updated already
  10. Next year we will assign some over to the Exam departments use since none of our current ones meet the requirement to last an exam duration without being plugged into the mains which is a no-no
  11. Believe the other schools have resolved it, we have Impero so it's easy to bulk logon all the stations if needed to get the logon script to run
  12. Your other option is to use it in a logon script if it's not working for you as a start up script.
  13. Try it with the following in front of it, as it seems to work for the other schools in our MAT without SCCM start /wait /min DISM.........
  14. For 1909 Windows 10 clients, we are using this powershell script via SCCM and it's working well DISM.exe /Online /Remove-Package /PackageName:Package_for_RollupFix~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~18362.1440.1.7 (Oh this is just to remove 5000808 as thats the only one thats stopped our printer issue due to BSoD)
  15. They slapped their own pre-printed ones on our kit along with the Trust name
  16. Well the only information regarding it in the home testing guide is "If you have had a nosebleed within the last 24 hours, swab the other nostril or wait 24 hours."
  17. We originally requested that devices were returned by March 2021 (based on when the Cisco umbrella was due to expire), but for now we're waiting a couple of weeks before arranging anything. Will likely let the Y11 students who have a device to keep using it for the rest of the year and get them back in June. Already had 2 laptops back in from students today though as they had not used them during the recent lockdown so thought it was best they came back... now why can't all students be like that!
  18. No don't send him one, nooooooooo
  19. All our cover staff logon to the workstation in the classroom with their dedicated user account, and work (or instructions on where it is) are e-mailed to that account by the admin lady responsible for cover. We do have 3 members of staff employed purely as cover supervisors so we don't need many agency staff in a normal week.
  20. If you are not the named contact for the school/MAT, you can get the bios and admin passwords via the portal. If you are not, then you need to request that who ever is the named contact for the Academy does that. If the devices have been provided via the LA to the school, then they are for specific students so should be provided as is (so do not need adding to your networks)
  21. wait til you get to the end of Season 3 and go what the...... However have been watching season 2 of Snowpiercer recently. Been wondering at the different ways Sean Bean could be killed off in it since his characters normally end up getting killed (apart from Sharpe)
  22. If you had the "Oxford" one that would fit from others I know that have had it. However if you want to power wash some more patios when your feeling better.....
  23. Welcome to the wonders of logistics, and until the 4th test is done they should be wearing a mask in a classroom if unable to keep 2m distance from each other (as if that is possible) so it's going to be an interesting March. We're having to relocate our current setup from a nice warm dance studio to a Sports hall with limited network connectivity so at least the spreadsheets with 100 records at a time means we don't need to get loads of devices in there to use to register the test. We are pre-populating the spreadsheet with a dedicated school e-mail address and a school number apparently, so that will be interesting as well
  24. No we get to do 3 sets of tests from the 8th within a 2 week window, unless schools choose to bring students back in earlier than that
