Hi All, Can anyone recommend a desktop USB charging system they are using that works for them that has about 10 ports for ipads and tablets, were looking for 1 for each class. I can see some on Amazon about £60ea but just want to ask if you have any recommendations Thanks

Had no complaints this morning all running ok here in the Northeast.

Until someone comes up with a bucket full of money to replace the hardware, then 10 is staying by which time I might have retired.

So, I came into work this morning after listening to some politician on the radio saying that we are not requiring masks in schools because they are sat mostly at their desks and not moving around. Must be great for the staff in that school that everyone stays at their desks.

Its not an issue until someone nicks the mouse from the server because theirs wasn't working. Easily solved I nicked it back and gave them one of the old ball ones I had lying around for a the day;)

Ad Astra - What a load of rubbish, watching paint dry is more entertaining.

We have the occasional dropouts at one of my schools, mostly happened when the new IP phone system was linked into out network, we complained and had them move to their own router, we get the odd one now and again still but not as many times, our ISP reckon it is a poor connection from the router to the switch which I have changed, so far its been ok but they soon let you know when their teams meeting goes off. At my other school the 169 xx address issue was caused by there not being enough addresses in the scope, easily solved and a reboot of the wifi.

Is your onsite filtering getting in the way. I see you say personal computers but is that on their home devices offsite?

Yes we have them. You will need to get in touch with the person that ordered them for your school, in our case it was the finance officer and they will have a login to the portal to obtain the passwords for the bios. Pretty straight forward really they end up creating you an account and that's it.

Hi All, The school wants to purchase a small bundle of iPad's along with a charge and sync system. Being a Chromebook using school how do we manage them? Any pointers apart from don't buy them?
