Im pressed with the install time. Set SCCM to install in the background. upon reboot, It look less than 2 minutes to complete the installation!

We are 98% 1:1 usage here. However, when we issue someone a new device we expect them to be able to use everything straight away and not have to wait at least a full working day. I think we did yes. But considering the time it takes for it to kick in I kind of gave up!

I am looking to move shared drives into Sharepoint Team sites. As part of this I would want to automate pressing the sync button in the Sharepoint site to make them appear in Windows Explorer. There is the Group Policy "Configure Team Site Libraries To Sync Automatically" - I can't get this working. Even if I could I don't think it will be suitable as it can take up to 8 hours for this to apply. This is a full working day! I was wondering if there are any alternatives please? Thanks

Restoring it from a backup is effectively doing the snapshot thing again. Cull the problem DC. Seize the roles. Monitor and take any cleanup action and create a new DC. I believe modern versions of Windows won’t have this issue with snapshots. Might be worth upgrading both DC.

Hello, I am wondering what tools (preferably free!) you used to migrate H Drives into Onedrive please? The Microsoft Sharepoint Migration tool can do it. However it seems it will do 1 user at a time. Cheers

It's a shame that the companies are not government owned. Here the Australian Government own the Infrastructure. We had just over 4km of Fiber Optic cable installed and it cost us nothing. The only term was a minimum 3 year contract for the service.

Prime example of poor management in schools.surely this was all checked before signing the contracts? Schools then complain they have no money; much of this is a result of poor procurement decisions.

This sounds normal from what from I have seen when I was in the UK. Add you sure it isn’t in the contract? From my experience it was set out clearly.

I personally think the writing is on the wall for x86.... ARM will be the new king!

We use Develop Ineo machines. They are rebranded Konica Minolta. We have issues getting the correct drivers. Even the latest ones they provide aren’t signed. We have to use a diver for a different model and loose a feature. Very frustrating.

The third port shouldn't be a driver. The school should be training any new starters.
