Hi, We have had various changes in our History department and the Current timetabled teachers are off, but will be back. We have a cover teacher covering their lessons. I have created the Sessions for the Profiles for the summer term school reports obviously the Main teachers are still in there is there a way to add another teacher in to the profiles so they can write the reports, without adding them in Timetabler and reimporting the whole timetable. Hello, We Use Sims and and inbuilt In Touch communication to email and SMS our Parent body it is a little dated but works Fine. When we want to have information back from parents we use MS forms to compile our questions and replies, this works ok. However.... We want to be able to see which Parents out of the List eg Year 7 Parents have not replied (filled in the form), or if there are blank columns etc and the be able to easily email them as a group, rather than manually going through the list of Y7 parents. Do any of you use any third party Messaging providers which offer this as part of a communication feature? Thanks

Hi, We have recently moved to SIMS and have found the way creating Termly School Reports an absolute nightmare, we are using profiles as we need the reviewing aspect of it, being able to send reports back or approve them is a must for us. But the fact that you cannot integrate these Profiles within the 'Individual Report' so you have to add marksheets to the Profile but unless you have an active comment for a profile you cannot get the teachers name in the sessions Report. The review stage is so clunky and time consuming for SLT HOS's. Is there any 3rd party companies which will pull aspects, grade sets off of SIMS the ability to add subject comments that has a purpose of Creating School Reports? Thanks

Hello, I am creating Profiles for the first time for our Autumn School Reports, all seems like it will work okay, different to WCBS Pass which is what we used in the past but similar enough that the teachers should follow the process fine. The only issue I can see is that our reports are split in to 2 sections "Course Content" Generic Text per class and "Teacher Comment" Personal comment to each pupil The Course Content for each class will be the same for all pupils of that class so the teacher will have to Paste the same comment in to all pupils! In Pass we could add a Standard Text field which would be assigned to each Class set so would only need to be added in once? does anyone know if this is an option or have found a way to do this. Hi, Our receptionist is having an issue with the Missing Marks report during the PM registers taking her ages to chase up pupils/teachers. AM is not a problem as all pupils are in Registration groups so they can ring to the form room and see where the pupils is. Our PM registration is set to P5 which is the first lesson after lunch of which Pupils are not taught in their Form Groups, but I cannot see anywhere to display in the report where the Pupils should physically be. eg Eng set 1, Geog set B, as it will just show what their Form is? I have Tried to create a custom report but it will display all PM lessons rather than just the one set in to be the PM registration. Does this make sense. Or am i trying to be too nice to the receptionist in getting them an easier way of doing things Thanks Mike

Hi, I am creating new Marksheets for adding in Pupils Baseline assessments so nice and easy only 1 aspect for Year 7 Midyis Score, as they will only ever have one Mark for this The problem I have is that there are Pupils who have left the school showing in the Marksheet? Even though they have a leaving date in the past they are still assigned to the year and year taught in which is now greyed out when I find them. How do I omit them from the Marksheets? Thanks Mike

Hello, we are setting up Sims Profiles for teachers to create comments for a school report. Do any of you know if it is possible to ommit one teacher if the class is being taught by multiple Teachers or class one teacher as the primary? Also once the teaches have completed a comment is there anywhere which can tell them how many outstanding comments they have? Many thanks Mike

Hi Thanks for the reply, The trips/fixtures are set up using Evolve, and Socs so are not really In sims and our office Admin gets given a list of pupils and needs to create a report using these pupil names with the following info: Pupil Picture, Pupil Name, Parent Contact Details, Medical info, Alergy info.

Hello, In Sims I would like to create a Report for School fixtures, the pupils will always be different and sometime cross years. We used to use WCBS Pass and a report was created to do this however I cannot replicate in Sims. I want to: Run report Select Students names. Report outputs these pupils details as specified in the report. has anyone done this or can point me in the right direction? Many Thanks
