It doesn't have the Layer 7 component. So you won't be able to send specific applications via a specific WAN interface. It will have to be done via IP addressing.

I would be keen to see this as well. Many on here including my pervious MAT moved heaps of computers to ChomeOS. We were actively changing everything so it wasn’t tied to Windows. We had a hardware failure between backups and lost timetabler data. Wouldn’t have been such a big deal if it was a SaaS could service.

That isn’t true. I can think of a few off top of my head. 1. If it’s web based you’re not tied to a particular operating system. You’re not stuck with Windows. More and more schools are moving away from Windows. 2. If web based it doesn’t require installation. Also updates are easier to manage. Reduced overheads. 3. The risk of loosing data is reduced.

If you have found the problem server the next thing to ask is how it happened?

If not locked down properly Internal to internal can still mean they are coming from elsewhere. Depending on the setup messages could be dumped from the elsewhere and your server still doing al the routing. I’m not saying you’re wrong. But it’s more likely it’s not the exchange server that is infected. Is your exchange server fully patched for both Windows updates and Exchange updates?

Based on the information here why would you say that? There isn't the evidence to suggest that it is something on the Exchange server. It could be coming from elsewhere and just relaying via the exchange. If that is the case the issue will come back after the rebuild.

It has been a few years but I believe you used to have to reduce security for this to work. Something like let staff run installers or even maybe be local admin. Im sure someone who has used it recently could confirm. Now, it looks like it can be done via a service to resolve this issue.

We have a hosted VM if the data centre of our SIP and MPLS provider. Great benefit is the SIP doesn’t go over the internet so good call quality. The server is cloud hosted but is directly connected to the network so behaves like an on premise server. We pay $2,000 (AUD) a year.

Similar to the above. However we generate guest passes and they sit on reception. Each has a unique code that can be used once. That why if does does get compromised it’s only good for a day.

It is yes. In all fairness you very rarely see any of the above. Those photos were all taken within a 2.5 year period. My Australian partner hasn't seen a snake out in the wild for 10+ years. You do see huntsman around but not usually that size.
