Hello, We have a group of consultations working with our company. They need to see the Free/Busy status of our staff members Office 365 calendars so they can book appointments. Ideally I don't want them to create accounts for them, plus it will be a little messy. Can anyone suggest something that could accommodate this please? Thanks

It really depends on the design on your network. You can make it do this but there probably isn't much benefit for a network the size of a school. If the network isn't designed correctly this could make it worse. You're probably best off keeping your Layer 3 switches in the core and then not have subnet spanning across multiple switches. That way routing isn't hopping back and forward between switches. Basic routing will always be better on switches than routers (Ironically!) as it's done in the hardware ASIC, routers use software.

It's worth mentioning that the Call Flow Designer isn't available with the hosted version offered by 3CX.

We went with a hosted virtual machine. It is hosted by our communications provider and connects directly into our MPLS network. So it behaves like a on premise server but isn't.

Just to expand a little for anyone who doesn't know. They can be removed by the end user and be fully restored to factory default.

Hello, I have deployed 3CX at our company to 17 sites. Works well! You could use the queue feature. When the agent (receptionists) isn’t logged into the queue you can configure it to go to voicemail. Setup a login / logout button on physical phones. Soft phones have the queue button ready to use. Cheers.

I hope this happens. I can't see it being Intel though. It seems like the "Kodak effect" is happening. They once had the market, slowly losing it by failing to adapt and that could mean their demise.

I would have thought the main reason people go for Windows is due to having the biggest compatible software library. If they can get these x86 based applications to work on ARM powered computers like Apple has with Rosetta 2 I think there is a real chance. One day (no idea when!) I can see the majority of apps being web based anyway so that will eliminate the required compatibility. Big developers such as Adobe will make their apps run native, this has been evidenced with the Apple transition.

I did say I would draw a line under this but posting this to clarify. I am not blaming schools. There should be something in place so that people making fictional decisions are appropriate people who are trained. Now back over the line. [emoji846]

Back to the topic on hand. Apple have done a good job with theARM implementation (albeit some improvements are needed). Could Windows 11 see the ARM take off in the PC world?
