Stomps all over it, in fact. Infrequent bursts of noise could be coming from equipment switching near you. Things like - microwaves, lifts, fan motors, unsurpressed car/bike engines, etc. Try to tie down a timing / interval.

The doctor that gave me my second jab said they'd been working continuously without a break for months. (No pedants, not 24/7) and that was winding up last week. So that will reduce capacity. NHS didn't cover themselves with glory, requiring recently retired nurses (who had been training nurses to give injections) to do full training (PREVENT, Working at Height, Fire Safety etc, etc... 40hrs I believe) before they could administer jabs in centers set up for just that, and managed by others.

Unbalanced? The figures here are that cases (whilst still low) have gone up 3 fold in a week.
