    It isn't so much that there are false positives, but the govt have decreed that you can't, following a LFT positive in a school, go and get a PCR and have that trump the false+. If you do the test at home you can. It is the non-sensicalness that is the real problem.

    Random disconnects, don't show video on the outputs without restarting in just the right sequence, don't always charge... That sort of thing.

    Practice maybe (and we do), but a proper mock should be sat in as near "real life" conditions as possible. They are relied upon if a child can't sit the real thing.

    You don't say? Add in the ineffectiveness of LFT for asymptomatic cases... LOCK DOWN 4 in May. The one BoZo said wouldn't happen.

    If they are still using the headsets that I dealt with ten years ago, every part is also replaceable. Ear pads, headband spring, mic arms and capsule... The whole lot. Canford Audio - not known for being cheap stock them. There may well be others.

    Say at Cheltenham Festival*, Eating Out to Help Out, "Saved Christmas", schools re-opening without proper mitigation in September and January (watch this space for March) In better news - some science techs are reporting being able to have a jab early if they are doing LF testing. Others have been turned away. Worth letting any staff involved know, and they can check local availability. * Described by someone as an example of how to design super-spreader event.
