I don't mind heights too much (was usually floating on a roof of the building at times sorting cables / football / bag retrieval / Boarding smashed windows etc..) but it was the hanging one handed off a crane over a city with no safety kit made me and feel ill. If I had a safety harness and knew it was safe and to be trusted I'd happily have a go hanging off a crane and take some amazing photos of a city just so long as I can be safely got down in 1 piece and no chance of falling and dying.

I made the mistake of watching that the other night whilst eating my tea...... I felt slightly ill during it at times when hanging by on hand off cranes etc... it was very scary when I've hung off one hand before on things and slipped (not off cranes!) but know it can hurt and easily done.

Google fine here, sounds like your ISP is straining google so its safety features are coming into play with the Captacha image that usually kicks in when your all hitting it off 1 IP and it assumed its under attack / automated shizzle. Give ita few hrs it will calm down.

Each till had a list of students names, space to write the cost of food and indicated if they were FSM or not to incidcate that to the staff. Other than that we didn't have anything else and we had to use it a couple of times and it worked. We did however talk about UPS's on 1 till in the main room to keep it going and work it though to the core, so that was a UPS for the till and then one for a switch cab that was in-between them so not too bad.

GPartedit will be fine and work, I've done it on Sharepoint, SQL and Exchange boxes before (when badly setup by others!) and works no issues. As you say ensure you have backups / other ones to take over just in-case but you should be fine to adjust with it, it will disk check all drives on the next start up, find errors and reboot usually but with no ill effects after that I have had before.

DFS sounds like it could be what your after but you should look and plan into it. You would have file servers on each / a number of sites and use DFS so it automatically replicates the files in the DFS shares to other sites and allows you to connect to the nearest to the site you are on

I can highly recommend Nationwide Retail (NRS) they were very competitively priced for us when I tendered for Cashless and support was very good and the product range is constantly evolving and taking in feedback from schools which is excellent The new kit was very nice at BETT Gladstone is interesting you mentioned them @Edu-IT as the firm behind them (Corporate) bought out CBR systems Jonas Software Acquires CRB Solutions - CRB Solutions So I'd expect very interesting times ahead with those products in the future as surely long term, despite the PR's, they will not continue to develop 2 completely separate systems as that won't be financially viable long term?

Our data manager had 2x 21" TFTs which made her life so much easier once she got used to having them that way and other staff started to want the dual screens for improved performance. I'm lost without my dual screens they make life so much easier and save window flicking all the time and now I have lovely 24" screens at work when I use my 19"s at home I'm like aww these are tiny

Remember it (you maybe don't use it now) but was on them Exam Laptops and I think in the P Exams or Staff Admin Exams folder?
