SIP is the future so anything being bought now should either fully support SIP and be run on it or include it as BT have already posted EOL notice for most ISDN services so you have less than 10 years to go on ISDN. I've found comms and support awful, they have some nicely insecure software on some servers (again probably what they would call legacy now given they were from CSNM days) which is a bit of a risk as its out of patch but alas they couldn't advise if / when they were going to fix it and closed my support ticket other than blame Plesk to which I pointed out they had newer versions available just needs installing to remove some bugs (even plesk themselves didn't have all the bugs fixed on release notes I could see). I remember in the distant past that if the IP your mail comes from looks up differently to what the mail program says it is then it will get stopped, so your IP 82.16.27.51 is in DNS as mail.healing-school.co.uk but your headers above are showing as healing-exchange.school.local against that IP so it will fail so it could be that.... If you can get that set on exchange to go out as mail.healing-school.co.uk and ensure the rDNS is the same that may just cure it. The name is in your send connector (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/bb629503%28v=exchg.141%29.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396) and you want to set it in "Specify the FQDN this connector will provide in response to HELO or EHLO " you should obviously do tests etc and ensure by changing this / any other exchange setting you don't break something else.

21-23c depending on the room and where it is and the kit in the room, where possible we try and get 2 units in each room for resiliency a well so in our London office we have 2x 30,000BTU units we can run on one of them with careful monitoring of the environment whilst the other is repaired, in smaller locations the load is still split where possible over 2 units to give again some level of resiliency as we are usually stuck in the basement or sub-basement so cannot say open a window for a temp unit etc..

Yep new SEPM install, then you can push a new SyLink to the clietns from it however its never 100% perfect so you will probably get 80-90% ok and the last 10-20% will need manual intervention. You should check SQL Compatability / support matrix for your products, some may not support the newer version, yes you have DB Compatability modes within SQL but its always worth checking and talking to the vendors.

Lastpass Enterprise for us globally we used it to replace KeePass as that had its downsides such as people over-writing the shared database and not synchronising for example.... Another that a company we bought uses is PassPack which also looks quite nice and from cost seems cheaper than LastPass Enterprise

I had several Facility copies and DBs for mine and the Data Managers testing, this included ePortal, my encrypted laptop also had copies on it so I could work on the move was a great tool

If the remote had a turn off IR port how do you turn it back on again from the remote when the projector is 10ft in the air without your ladder? You should look to get wired in some RS232 controls, kits used to be around £30-£50 for a basic on-off system, you could probably DIY it with a Raspberry PI or something

I carry one of them in my bag they are a great thing in some places where a 3 pin plug is non-existent such as one of our new offices where we have no other power bar a C16 and the 2x PDUs or in Datacentres

A decent PC or Laptops is a must in IT, I cannot do without 2 screens in reality for anything serious. In my current job I have a HP Desktop so its a high end i5, 16GB Ram, 128GB SSD and dual 24" super wonderful HP Z series monitors (which I love!) its now into year 3 of life so 2 to go till replacement as we get 5 years out of our kit, it is pretty much standard issue bar the 2 Z series monitors and I have a Dell Ultrabook that's an i7 with 256GB SSD and 16GB Ram as I also have to travel and work in other offices and I am expected to pickup the bits when the brown and stick hits the rotating blades shall we say in evenings and weekends (as are some of my colleagues who are also on here!). I'd be lost without 2 screens for sure when building VMware systems, setting up new systems etc you can have resources on one and systems on the other etc and as we use Skype for Business I keep that squished on one screen at all times. Those that have things like Dell Precision workstations, HP Z series, if they are 2nd user ICT Direct brillo but brand new for an IT Leader I do find that a bit questionable unless your video editing, coding etc daily then makes sense but if your doing what would be seen as a traditional IT Manager job not sure how justifiable they are.

Yes you can I had them on in my last job and all mail went through SmoothZap before Exchange as IMHO the built in Exchange ones were not much cop basic stuff was still getting through so you use it and something else before it and that seemed to work pretty well.

We have Sidiz chairs that were 2nd user and very nice, mesh back and decent shape they were about £70 each from function whos local-ish to us and we use for various things. You couldn't tell they were 2nd user

Could you not get two of the top end office ones and the link cables that some firms make (assuming they still offer them) would that be easier?

I've used CCS in my past job and boy it kept changing and took some work but was very good and useful even impressed our LA Auditor that I knew what it was and how to use it when we were audited on some procurement we did They used to have a manual you could download and I spent about an hr reading it and then it made sense have you tried that?
