Either that or use a Linux web server, if you install CentOS you can select web server on installation and once its rebooted you have a working web server and its secure and will be up to date, having IIS6 on the net now isnt a very good idea at all.

We sure did RickH.

Ubiquity kit is the best stuff to get for outdoor stuff. 300m is quite a distance just before you put anything up make sure no one else near to where your going to put up your antennas is also using antennas, if there are any ask see if anyone knows what frequency they are on because you dont want to use the same frequency. Also make sure you have good line of site, although the ubiquity stuff has a good beam range LOS is still good if you have it. Try and use the open 24Ghz frequency if you can as it's license free.... Just make sure no one near your 300m is using the same. I have a friend whop does this type of thing for a living all over Europe, I am also considering doing a similar thing but over a 1Km distance.

Outlook calendar sharing not working
cpjitservices replied to purpleoakley's topic in Office Software
I have had problems lately sharing calendars, it was working for a good yeah but then stopped, to rectify the problem the users that need sharing I have added into a Security Group and have enabled calendar sharing with all permissions on that group. So if I drop anyone into that group now they can see/share calendars. Users open Calendars from Address book and it works fine. No idea why it stopped working in the first place. -

I like this game, I enjoy playing it on Xbox Live. However I am bored of the maps... On standard multiplayer (Xbox live) is there anyway to get more maps ? I'm not sure what the Call of Duy Elite is ? Do I have to buy maps ? TIA.

I want to implement an all Linux solution here on our desktops, but its locking it down and getting roaming profiles to work, aside from that I run Linux on everything I can run it on. Usually Fedora for desktop and CentOS for server.

I have a logon script which runs once the user logs in (Obviously) and it runs an app, once the apps loads the CMD screen still remains, is there anything I can put in the script that will keep the app running but kill the CMD ? I have 'exit' at the end of the script but it doesn't get that far because it runs the program and doesn't go any further and stays there. Standard Batch file. PS - If I close the cmd window manually the program still stays running (which is what I want). TIA - hope everyone is having a nice day.

An INI file would be just the jobby, All I need is what you have already got in there but so I can add custom text for different departments. Thanks

or at least tell us how to edit the 'About' button so I can put a support URL on there for the users.

Well Users here have a habit of leaving PC's unlocked and some of them cant even find the lock / logoff button on the start menu, if it's like this it's easier for them to find!! One user here cant logoff or lock, ive showed him where it is and the keyboard shortcuts - he just uses the shutdown button.

You beauty!!!! Thanks!

All you need is pfsense, its also got Proxying like Dansguardian and squid and it has captive portal. Have used it in cafe's and the likes myself! Piece of cake to configure and easy to manage as it looks just like a normal router interface.

Good morning to you all! I Have added a couple of new users to Exchange, not done anything different to how I usually add them but for some reason their calendars say Busy/Tentative. I have a script which I usually run to fix this problem and can see everyone else's calendars fine. Usually, I add the user to Exchange, run the script and the calendars are fine but lately it seems not to be working. I've also just noticed some of the calendars that were sharing (as In I could see the info) are now saying Busy. Is it something the users have done there end and thats why the script isnt working or has something in Exchange changed ? (this does seem to have broken since a recent restart to install updates) Thanks all.
