Thanks all. I followed this guide ( ) and have reclaimed nearly all of the space WinDirStat still shows about 14GB of 'unknown' so I'll have another look at that later.

Unfortunately at the minute Casio don't make an ultra short throw LED projector. We've got quite a few of their XJ-M and XJ-A series projectors in classrooms and they're brilliant. No complaints from the staff.

Thanks, just run that and it shows that it's a bunch of files within the System Volume Information folder. It's not letting me delete them though :/

I'd recommend this route also, Promethean do a similar thing also (Promethean World - Interactive Displays : ActivPanel). I guess you could just use a regular touchscreen and connect it to the computer?

It doesn't hold any AD profiles, it has some archived user home directories though. I've just tried running it as Administrator and had the same block showing up as unknown.

No. I checked that and it's disabled on this drive. EDIT: I'm running a check disk now, not sue if it will make a difference.

Good morning all! On one of our 2008 R2 servers we've lost about 140GB of hard drive space on one drive. It has about 20GB of data on and then had about 20GB of Windows Server Backup files. The rest of the drive should have been empty, but it reports as only having a few gig free. I've disabled Windows Server Backup and removed the folder, that's only freed up the 20GB it was using. I've run WinDirStat and it picks up ~140GB of 'Unknown Space'. Does anybody have any idea where this space is being used or how to claim it back? Many thanks Chris

I'm glad I didn't buy a Blackberry PlayBook a couple of weeks ago. This seems like a much more sensible option to go for!

You can create a smart list in the RMMC to show all computers with software package 'X' installed. Obviosuly this won't bring up any local installs of software that you've done.

We use the Samsing CLP-620ND printers also. They seem pretty reliable and economical. So far I think we might have only had 1 jam?!

I use the free version of FuelLog also. Pretty simple and it works quite well. I did try one called Mileage but it was naff and was unable to correctly work out my MPG

My San Francisco used to last just over a day, although more recently I'd take it off charge in the morning and then by about 5pm it was saying connect charger. After putting a custom ROM (CM7) the battery life has improved significantly, it will last over 2 days with a fair amount of usage... (WiFi and data on, GPS on when needed)

When it loads up I don't even see a splash screen. It's just the Multimedia Science School player if that makes a difference?

Where can you find the version info? Whatever version we have is working fine on Windows 7.

There is no base license required for Office. We're using Office for Mac 2011 on ours (under our EES agreement). Not too sure on the Bootcamp side of things though... the documentation allows you to use Mac OS as a base license if you wish to run Windows on the Mac, not sure if you're licensed to have them both installed side-by-side (dual booting).

I seem to recall that I did get it working, however it was a bit fussy about some of the network drivers... can't remember what cards I got it working with and which didn't work. I'd recommend you taking a look at it. It's very simple to set up.

Correct, you just need to remove the 4 screws from the back cover with a security hex bit (mine is marked CR-V3), I bought a set of pieces from CPC (D00391 - DURATOOL - 33 PIECE SECURITY BIT SET | CPC). Once the back cover is removed you have access to all of the internal components. The large 'void' at the bottom is where all the cables (keyboard, mouse, network, power) go into the computer and is used just to tidy them up and secure them in place. This cover can be removed with the same security hex bits as earlier.
