I had an "interesting" interview with them at BETT. Couldn't publish any of it in the end though! For SMS systems - look at Groupcall or InTouch (SIMS Addon only)

Joy... this is happening a lot over the past 6 months. There are some SWGFL people on here - any chance any of you would like to get involved in this discussion?

IE11 / Google Homepage
TheScarfedOne replied to speckytecky's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
The above is right. The old GPO settings from IE 7/8/9 no longer work on 10/11 and upwards. You now have to use preferences, but you need to have the updated ADMX files from a machine with IE11 on it (or from a Server 2012/2012 R2) machine. You can also use the Admin Kit as above to create your own IE11 installer - but as you are pushing via WDS (assume you might mean WSUS) - then this wont necessarily help you. Heres an MSDN link about preferences and depreciation of the old IE Policy settings How to apply “The content of IE Settings†in GPO (which used IEM (IE Maintenance) before IE10) to IE10+ Version since IEM have been deprecated from IE10 - AsiaTech: Microsoft APGC Internet Developer Support Team - Site Home - MSDN Blogs -

Waiting for User Profile Service Stuck for one User
TheScarfedOne replied to abillybob's topic in Windows Server 2008 R2
Hmm, that sounds like a permissions problem on the folder for you as a user. Go into the folder, and you will probably get the warning/error. Confirm the "allow access" and then check the size again. -
@apearce *BUMP*

Waiting for User Profile Service Stuck for one User
TheScarfedOne replied to abillybob's topic in Windows Server 2008 R2
Is the user using Roaming Profiles? Worth checking the size of that out. Could be GPs applying to a laptop that aren't to PC -
