We have a weird issue with a couple of user specifically around the use of the Intel 4500 graphics drivers. For one user, every now and then it developers a fault, and makes her screens go off, uninstalling the driver and letting it find a new one seems to fix this (intel 5000) driver. then a couple of weeks later it will do it again. this is on a dell 7010 For the other user, we have been through multiple devices (laptop\laptop and dock, and now PC) and this still happens we aren't sure why-- this is on a Dell 9020. On hers, the screen develops a small square in the middle and again uninstalling the driver and allowing it to find it again, seems to fix it. But it happens to again later. Anyone (pretty please) have any ideas?

I've Just replaced mine-- if you need parts--lol. Screen broken in bottom corner though.

Just had a HP 250 G7 returned to us, as it kept falling off the home wifi Now in school for a look and the wireless driver is completely gone - and its locked down so i can't re-install it-- anyone else have this?

yes they do-- but its still based on their preferences, on cookies.... we have an unlisted you tube channel--- links are on our website though, so public but not searchable if you see what i mean-- was really helpful during off site learning, as the bigger videos could go on there. Parents loved it.

Sorry to hijack the thread - i just can't seem to get any of these formulas to tell me what the paxton number is from my papercut number, and our access company are no help. Tried all these and they don't even come close to the number the sensor is reading. Any help much appreciated

Hi Dsmith8 I am still working on getting this fixed, unfortunately. The user was using an old link to get to the RDP server - when she tried a fresh on-- it seemed to work though.

Juniper bought Pupil Asset in June, Looks like Horizons (their MIS)-- is mainly the code/GUI from that.... from the screenshots

Hand them out to teachers and say they have been imbued with your IT Aura and will scare away future IT problems if they keep them by the PC (it works fine now your here!)

We think we found the error- the RDP server does not seem to be creating a profile for her- which seems to be causing an issue

Has Anyone come across this error: SIMS connection failed for login, (user), Reason 0 we don't seem to be getting much help from our support on this one!!

They do have it now but this was/is happening on iOS 10, 12, and 13 too.

If in wrong place please feel free to move. We had an issue with iPads saying they are connecting but not actually connecting to our wi-fi network. In the short term, resetting the network settings worked, although it renamed the iPads, back to iPad. We were due to upgrade our wi-fi so we weren't too bothered. Now we have replaced our Wi-fi (Meraki, cloud controller MR42/36 points), however the problem has carried on. Has anyone else experienced this? We do have Jamf and I am using the enforce name part of it, however, it sometimes takes some time to kick in. Any help appreciated.

Its no problem, someone with a bit more spatial awareness than me- pointed out if I moved it across a bit it would fit!!!

Quick question re data, is anybody putting on their data information sheet that there is an expectation that these are used for School learning, be it remote or possibly from sep - for homework learning.... sorry if anybody has asked already

@Cazale There doesn't seem to be a manufacturer anywhere on this but i have the above pictures.

We have this mount-- which we believe is a universal mount - I have taken the arms off for a 4 point mount as I needed a much smaller 3 point mount position. When I tried to mount it it the 3 point position I needed the middle part- which attaches to the boom arm is in the wrong position and points way off to the right. do I need another mounting plate or is there another way of doing this? Thanks in advance

We have been assured by our Meraki agent that the apparent 5 year licensing costs are actually 10 year education specials..... so we should not have to pay licencing costs for a while!!

Thank you @computer_expert I just wondered why we were being charged a "config" cost if the cloud controller was already set up and running, and we were just adding to the estate as it were!!

Hi all, As part of our new building, the LA team is providing us with a new wifi solution - Meraki. We had no choice in this, it is being provided as part of commissioning. This gives our main building a chance to upgrade our wireless provision to match, so as the LA is paying for the points and controller, we just need to add the new points from our main building to the controller. my question is this: do the new points require configuration? or is this a plug and go situation as if you had an onsite controller. Thanks in advance for any help.
