Did spiceworks then set up each ticket for each individual person who sent it in or did the auto forward mess that up??

yes I was. it didn't seem to work. I have since been told -- i.e. this morning after 3 days of waiting-- they don't support spiceworks. very frustrating.

Hi We are having some issues here. We want to start using spiceworks for our helpdesk with our incidents being emailed to a school email address that spiceworks then picks up and turns into tickets. we have spiceworks hosted here and the outgoing settings seems to work fine- I get all the test emails from spiceworks with smtp set up. However I cant seem to get the incoming settings right - I don't know if its something to do with the fact we have KLZ email, or ports being blocked or what. If I try the imap settings I have been given the error I get says the port is not available. if I try the exchange settings it tells me the authentication is incorrect- but I have checked this. The spiceworks installation is currently on a PC with the firewall, and windows defender and anti virus turned off (bad I know, but what I was advised as a fix) Any help much appreciated.

@Chris_ it apparently affects all laptops - basically if they completely lose charge they act as if dead-- something to do with a thermal charge still on the motherboard - simple fix is - turn off, remove battery, plug into mains, replace battery. allows motherboard to discharge. not so simple fix is leave under desk for weeks waiting for new warranty details from Kelway- motherboard discharges - another engineer comes in, tells you about fix, trys laptops and they work...... wonderful.

"learned" that all RM motherboards have a thermal fault once they have completely discharged- and I found out the fix--so those ones sitting under my desk not working for a month now work.....

Ok I have been working on this for a while but being RM...... it always seems to go wrong.. Does anyone have the network version of Rapid Writing (any stage up and running on CC4). Cant seem to get to the package to complete.... Any help would be much appreciated!! meadowgirl

We just bought a bog standard tv from cpc for a room 58" screen for £544 - brand is a Cello, but it works as a monitor... bracket from same place was £15.

We have multiple ipads on different accounts, i.e. yr 7 on one, year 8 on another and so on, and we have lightspeed mdm...... never had any issues... apart from little niggles due to set up of groups in MDM

Would be lovely to go but the new network manager gets to go instead of me this year!

I work at a special needs school and do this kind of thing all the time, a good literacy program to use is Clicker 6, as long as she has someone working with her she can get quite a bit done. Also we have OT's and Physio's that help me out when positioning equipment gets tricky... you can always ask the nhs ones she uses.

We have a clever touch table and a inclusive tech touch. the clever touch table is used by our foundation years and goes flat, the inclusive tech one does too. rather fun!!

We have quite a few of these--(about 20) left after changing over to Ruckus. Unfortunately no power supplies as they were put in POE, some with mounting brackets. Asking for a donation + postage...... All queries welcome.
