We have just started using EFL and are moving towards this. But please remember there will always be some printing, especially in SEN schools.

If you can get them back by DFU, we use ours for daily loans or teacher iPads mostly accessing email.

If you have NetSupport DNA or school- there is a report a concern button that can appear on the computers. we trialled it, but the kids preferred to talk to us.

Hi, We tested multiple scenarios over a week to make this as seamless as possible... like I said it just seems to be 1 or 2 specific machines with very specific problems. We are now doing extra testing with user laptops, tethered to a mobile phone to see if we need to deploy the MSi manually on specific machines.

Computer configuration - i have just tested 3 more machines and all went fine just mine and 1 other seems to be having issues with the MSi

Failed to apply changes to software installation settings. The installation of software deployed through Group Policy for this user has been delayed until the next log-on because the changes must be applied before the user log-on. The error was : %%1274 but then I log on again and get the same error - sorry restart.

via GPO as stated in the manual -- it seems to work on some machines-- but a couple are just being stubborn

I have done some testing this morning however for some reason on some machines the msi will not install i have no idea and have had to install it manually.

Hi, I have got a call in to IAM cloud support and they will probably tell me i have done something wrong - however i may get a quicker answer from you guys. CDM is working great at school, MSI deployed by GPO and all that. However when the user goes home-- ie. me at this time-- it doesn't run its almost s if the GPO isnt installing the application... just running the exe every day. i have rechecked and the GPO is definately pointing to the MSI anyone have any ideas-- also feel free to move if in the wrong place so many thanks in advance

special school here have you tried changing the method of input? using an eye mouse or switch box works too sticky keys also works wonders-- you have to lengthen the deliberate press rather than the accidental and that might work better.

@TechMonkey The theme of the day is "reconnection". The actual plan is one presenter in the hall with half the staff broadcasting to another location with the other half. These will swap at mid-day so everyone gets to reconnect together. (not our idea) From what i can tell most of this will be Powerpoint and talk kind of presentation. You're right I doubt there will be much movement, however, they want the follow and close-up options available. we have purchased a USB radio mic so the sound can be separate from the audio to avoid any slip-ups. This won't be recorded or used again but I have a feeling this will feel like the norm going forward as we are too large now to fit all staff in one room.

@FragglePete Thank you for that. As i have said we have no equipment - what cameras are you using? Our AP is talking about wireless cameras, but im not sure that would work. we only have A1 licensing so i don't think Teams Live is available to us

Sorry if this is in the wrong place We have been asked to try for a dynamic teams (?!?) meeting on our staff dev day (less than 4 weeks away) Points we have been asked to consider: multiple angles\cameras (static wide, powerpoint view, etc) sound source remains the same still interactive camera follows speaker, and zooms in\out as necessary kit we have: wired webcam, wireless radio mic that apparently works with teams We are a special school and have no expertise on this and virtually no kit. Any help would be much appreciated, even a list of kit.

Thank you- unfortunately, Inventry doesn't do remote logging of absence, does it? That is what our staff is used to now, logging in to a system and reporting absence.

What do you use? Currently using Activ Absence but want something more geared towards school staff. Must sync with SIMS (if this is even possible any more!) Looking at EES Capita's offering (SAM) but not sure as its part of the bit that has been sold off, so development\updates may become an issue in future. Any help much appreciated.

We currently use the onedrive client to sync our cloud drives for our users. Sometimes a user gets a "cannot connect to server error", often enough to be annoying anyone come accross this-- is there a better way to sync drives currently looking into a c3rd party cloud drive mapper to see if this helps.
