Appreciate any help here - I'm not sure if i am getting or am giving the wrong information. We currently have iPads set up as shared devices but no Apple ID's (shared across the school, too many pupils using to log in). They have the watchguard certificate and are enforced youtube safe search. However stuff is still getting through (explicit songs on youtube). Our catch-all policy should force safesearch, but does not seem to. We are looking at upgrading mosyle to One k12 - does anyone know if this does content inspection?

I have found some users disabled today. So have sent an email asking: Why was the policy of deactivating users started? Why weren't we notified of the change? How long between log ons before a user is disabled? (summer holidays coming up) Yes do this to elevated users, but why to normal users - it makes it more likely things will not be reported in a timely manner, because a user may need to get their account reactivated before logging an issue? Is there a bulk way to reactivate users as it unwieldy and time consuming. Email sent early this morning - not acknowledged or any ticket reference as usual.

We can't even make it to the log on screen. Do your accounts sync with an MIS - problem might be there.

CPOMS is currently down-- looks like their maintenance did not work
-
Please note this is an issue at the mo-- don't update the firmware!! Currently had issues all day with phone system.
-
added them all no change

sorry to bump this, but having issues now with inPrint4 - the auto activation is having issues - you can manually activate but i have to do this for 100 + machines so don't want to have to do that for every one. Have explicitly allowed all the widgit activation sites but still getting a: : Handler: Connection closing on SSL failure (Domain: api.activation.widgit.com) Error (watchguard) any help much appreciated.

I have had this-- a couple of times its a permission issue, a couple of times the user has deleted that particular email or thread. im using specifically browser based Outlook - if app, could also be a cached mode issue if lots of mailboxes

Half of our accounts havent been moved over to Auth 0. I now have to sit down each person and see how they are loggin in because neither of my help sheets fit all scenarios of what they are seeing. Also if you change the email address in CPOMS, this does not change the login email address--- it is a pain.

took an hour to get through yesterday - I assume they are still having issues with the authenticator bit and massive issues.
-
CPOMS is a nightmare for admin too-- so many steps to get staff set up, and then when you add a service you need to administer that separately. its painful.

You will need to make sure they aren't sharing an account, apparently that causes an issue! Other than that our teachers got creative and made their own to pop or relaxing music, whatever engages students more.

Hi all, Just as a test I updated my PC to 24H2 so we can use it in earnest before rolling it out from January, however my lovely G5 PC has stopped playing sound through the headphone socket. Now this is fine by me as i have a USB speaker, however we have an IT suite full of these things for students and they wont recognise headphones as an output. I have unistalled and reinstalled drivers, made my way through the forums and HP support assisstant but no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Finding who has a certain mobile number registered on mfa
Scifigirl replied to jessica's topic in Cloud Services
Silly question - if a staff member isn't it in the MIS or the communication software as a communication method. If not - then its most likely not being used for MFA - whoops just saw suggestion above. -
I have pushed back - is there anything specific i need to say? i have said that we are a Foundation Special school, and all students are in fulltime education.
-
Free for all K-12 (american freedom ages!) schools - as long as you meet criteria- which apparently we don't because it says Special School on our D of E page Also its kinda being pushed as the alternative to publisher..
-
Hi, Just been through the process of applying for Canva, but the say we aren't eligible because we are a special school. I have gone back to them to query, but have any other special schools had this issue?

I was very kindly sent an iso we hope will work - its a half term test and see situation, but thank you to everyone who offered, and will let you know how it goes.
-
Thanks that only has the security updates, not the full Operating system - which is what im looking for - thank you though

Afternoon all, A Friday tale of throwbacks and Woe. Our Sensory pool area PC which controls the lights and "atmosphere" has decided to do funny things and wants an XP CD/installable for repairs. This is not a PC we were aware of (typically) until it broke. Any one out there have a XP SP3 installable, we can have to fix? That doesn't come from a dodgy link.

Prob wrong place for this - feel free to move - Anybody managed to get replacement kensington keys - their register and retrieve service wants an EORI number which we don't have.
