That is a very interesting point.... However, I've found that the solution, over the years, is to memorise where your favourite buttons are, in relation to the biggest buttons on the RC, and therefore you can hit them in the dark! Yes.....Really! It works!

Right then..... Got home this evening, and found a letter on my doormat. A House of Commons envelope, no less! Here is what it says................... In the ase of Members of Parliament, following the expenses scandal, a decision was reached by Parliament that MPs woul have their pay and expenses regulated and processed by an independant body, IPSA. MPs are not employees of IPSA. The consequence of tightening regulation on disguised remuneration has led to the inclusion of the section in this bill as there is no intention of MPs avoiding tax by being paid through IPSA. I pay PAYE on my salary and for large expenses, I do get an advance which I use to pay the expense - e.g. rent for my office, home and other expenses over £200 in value. A setion was included in th Finance Bill to ensure that this arrangement would be able to proceed. With the current thread going on in the forums, I thought that now would be a good time to start a blog. You see, depression gets a pretty bad rap, from most quarters, mainly due to lack of understanding. My blog is not going to be an attempt to make people understand, but just to give an insight into the whys and wherefors.....But in my case only! So, where does it start? For me, this year, two keys incidents have come together to create, what my Doctor calls, "Reactive Depression". This is a form of depression that doesn't just "come on", but is caused by events in your life. Since the turn of the year, my Father has died (suddenly, with only a few hours notice) and my 7 1/2 year relationship with my partner has come to an end. Our 6 year old boy is caught up in this too. So, for me, this has been an incredibly hard few months. I had hoped, initially, to struggle through the death of my Father on my own. To be strong and keep a "stiff upper lip". You know the thing....It's what us British men do so well! However, when my partner decided that we had no future, completely out of the blue, it all became a little too much, and the stiff upper lip began to quiver! Firstly, I got myself an appointment with a councellor. It was her that first put me onto the idea of depression. Although I had suffered it before (some 9 years ago), I had not thought it would come back. Written tests were done, and the diagnosis confirmed. So, why write a blog about it? Well, I've been on this site for almost a year, and every single day I log in to look at the forums. With all the help that flies around from people on here, it got me thinking that maybe, just maybe, someone might read about a depressive's life, and see that it is not all bad! It may, or may not convince someone who's feeling low to go to the Doctor and seek professional help. I will be updating as I go through the coming months....The moving out....The finding how it is to live alone again....The weekends and weeks that I have my son. Finally, if anything in my blog resonates with you, please feel free to drop me a line. I am no expert, but I can try to give help whenever asked. Mango

As long as the conviction is spent, then you don't have anything to worry about. I had a "Possession of Class B Drugs" on mine, and I passed the ECRB! However, I was always upfront and put that on my application form.....Just in case! Didn't stop me getting a job in a college! Keep trying, and make the most of your contract time to learn as much as possible! Good luck!

I was talking to a friend, the other day, and he asked to borrow my copy of Freelancer. This game is the nearest thing to Elite that I've found. Anyway, he told me of an online game that was very similar, and free to play (I think) Now, this is NOT EVE-Online, as I used to be a member there. Any ideas, anyone? Oh..and I think it's called "Black" something!

Yeah...good idea...but with the foreshortening of video, it looks like it's ready in 45 seconds! If that WAS true, then it would be worth investing in!!! However, who wants to stand around a vending machine for 5 - 10 mins? And it looks like it does one at a time....!

Because non "stock" ROMs' seem to have less rubbish on them, and are actually smoother. I've had G'bread on my GT540 for about 6-8 weeks.....Best thing I've done to it. Also, the chances of actually "bricking" your phone are pretty slim. You may get a boot loop, or some other such problem, but completely bricking it is very difficult! (That's only MY opinion, and I do not wish to be held responsible for someone trying a ROM AND bricking their phone!!!)
