Hi Rawns.... Have you considered Novatech for your build? I rebuilt my PC with a quad-core, for about £200...including a 1TB HDD. Good delivery speeds too! (P.S. I have no affiliation with the company, I just thought they were good!)

(I have the Galaxy S) My brother, on the other hand, dumped his iPhone for an HTC Sensation, and after years of telling me how great the iPhone was, has completely changed his views. Fanboi no more! I still think it will be a personal preference, and you need to go into the shop and look at both to decide. Whichever you go for.... Good luck!

I'm under the impression that Samsung provide the screens for Apple products? This surely rules out the argument that without Apple, we'd still be walking along with bricks for phones. Development was already underway, and as pointed out, Apple brought it all together, but it is a lie to say that we would not have had smartphones WITHOUT Apple. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I'm not a fan, but when my brother got an iPhone, I was all for having a look at it, and was generally impressed. I still believe that Apple appeal to the masses because of clever advertising, but those who know, and want some control over their gadgets, would rather go with a different OS. I've always thought that Apple are leasing their phone to you.... You cannot do anything to it without jailbreaking it, and for a techie I find that rather too controlling! Just my two'penneth!

Hi Los, Me and my ex used to do it with our son....I'm gonna be starting up again, in the very near future! He loved it, and one of the best parts was being able to find a cache, that wasn't obvious, and instead of pulling it straight out, I'd tell the son that I couldn't find it, and that he should try. It was a great way of engaging him in the search. I've not seen anything dodgy, in any of the caches that I've found, and you're encouraged to take something, and leave something. I've just found my login details for the above-named website, and it's fairly simple to get the co-ords for local caches. Good luck with your little one....but be prepared for some LONG walks!!!

But is that not what made Steve Jobs a "visionary"? The ability to hoodwink enough journalists into believing that Apple set the standard, for all others to compete with? The mentality of most Apple users means that you can never have a constructive discussion over it without it turning into an argument. Sad really.... Depends what you're looking for..... I have a 512mb board, at home....Dvi output x 2 .... ATi Sapphire 1800XL (I think!) Doesn't seem to want to work with my new moboard. I am aware of that! Especially as I joined the R.A.F. at 17! However, my point is that by swelling the Armed Forces by x amount of "youngsters", you have a large number who cannot be placed on a war footing. So, for instance, it may look as if there are, say, 250,000 soldiers, airmen and sailors, the true figure may only be 150,000. Do you take the "youngsters" off their ship/base, in time of war? So, other than giving them discipline, what was the point? I am wholeheartedly in agreement that National Service could/should be brought back to instil some discipline into the youth of today, but going to 14-15y-o is just ridiculous!

You also have to understand that it is illegal to send anyone under the age of 18 to war. Therefore, you're taking x amount of 14-18 year olds, which makes the Services look large, but have no actual fighting complement. Also, if you're considering sending these 14-18 year old to college to do apprenticeships, and suchlike, where are the manufacturing jobs for them to take once they complete their course? We don't have the manufacturing base for current school leavers, let alone a whole batch of 14-16 year olds! It would seem that this country is getting madder by the day!

Hi Si, As you might remember I had an LG 540 It was about £110 at the time (a year ago) but was an excellent phone for the money. My other half has the Galaxy Ace and is very pleased with it. Personally, i think that the cheap Droids are pretty decent bits of kit. You'll lose a bit because the cam will not be top of the range, but, to be honest, there's not THAT much difference in quality

In June this year, I completely rebuilt my home PC with Novatech stuff. Quad-core, new MoBo, 8gb RAM, 1tb HDD..... All is well, and the system comfortably runs W7 64-bit I have no complaints about them at all! Went for standard delivery, which i think was 5-7 working days, and generally it all turned up 1-2 days later! Very very good delivery times!

I would absolutely agree that the system doesn't work! The only way to stop prisoners re-offending is to cut off their heads! Or , perhaps, lethal injection....Hanging, anyone???? There are always going to be those that are dedicated to a life of crime. Give them as little, inside, and possible. Make them work harder. Recruit more wardens, so prisoners CAN work, and are not trapped in their cells for 23 hours. If they don't WANT to work, let them rot in their cells with NO entertainment! Sorry...must go for a lie down....The server room is favourite!!

Oh behave! You can't go upsetting prisoners, and their lily-livered liberal friends and human rights merchants with such spoutings! Next, you'll be advocating stocks and suchlike!! Now, back to reality! Prison is about rehabilitation. Prisoners are locked up, in some cases, for 23 hours a day. Should they have tv? Yes! But only the 5 major channels. Should they have access to PCs? Yes, but heavily filtered, and no messenger/email access. I have a couple of friends who work in prisons, and they are deeply unimpressed with the amount of stuff that these people receive under the "Human Rights" banner.
