  1. Hi All, Our school asked if its possible to create Teams with all all students of a year group. Whilst I guess I could do this with existing email groups for it to be maintained when students come and go I guess I'd need to use SDS. We use SDS with Salamander to create class groups already but wondered if anyone had setup whole year groups? If anyone has was there any pointers to follow in terms of setting up such a large group in terms of restrictions. The purpose of the group is so it can be used for work hand outs and homework I believe. I'm not too sure why the class groups are not more appropriate but didn't have time to query. Thanks
  2. This is great and its working well here. Just wondering what you or anyone else uses for a weather widget. I'm sure back in the day BBC or the MetOffice did a free widget but I believe this went as well.
  3. Ours stopped working a while ago I think. Could never get it to work afterwards so we just stream a single promotional video now. Not ideal but unless someone else can fix. Cheers
  4. Joyful news thanks everyone haha. I really hope it does other stuff better than ePraise and it just doesn't look more shinny than what we've currently got.
  5. Our school is looking to move to ClassCharts, is this backward login code still the only option in 2023 please?
  6. FYI after doing some more research I've found a great free app on iOS named Kiost+ which does what I need using Forms for free. Cheers everyone
  7. Thanks everyone, I feel a in house solution may be a bit above my level especially as then I'll have to get involved with exporting and making it look pretty. Forms would be perfect if it just had a few features like automatically going back to the start but I didn't know about the new timer feature so thats helpful thanks.
  8. Thanks for the reply, I mean I'm not a great coder but would be willing to host onsite if I can find some examples online to copy and repurpose. Any help or pointers would be appreciated thanks.
  9. Our school would like a electronic survey in reception. The kind where you press on stars for your experience and then enter follow up questions for example. I was thinking an iPad with a kiosk stand and then a Microsoft Form but quickly realised that this may not work as even if the iPad is put into guided mode it won't look professional as the survey may be left half completed etc. There are plenty of paid for solutions I can see on the market but has anyone used one or even better have a free alternative please?
  10. I've also heard similar from our attendance team. Did you get any further with this please? From a quick Google there are not many comparative products really.
  11. Hi Graham, Did you ever get to the bottom of this? We had this on Office 2016 and then have moved to Office 2021 and the issue has followed. Its so strange and intermittent its very hard to fix. Thanks
  12. There is a download version for desktop which works fine on standalone computers but I can't seem to make it deployable as its a tiny application for Adobe Creative Cloud that then seems to installs Photoshop Express. I can see these at https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/all/desktop
  13. Good Afternoon, I've recently found out that Adobe Express is free for education as per https://www.adobe.com/uk/education/schools/deployment.html Included in this is Adobe Photoshop Express. I'd love to be able to get this installed on some of our Art computers but it appears there is little to no information on how to deploy this in a shared environment such as deploying by MSI or SCCM. Has anyone successfully done this or knows any more information I would be grateful. Thanks
  14. Wow that was quick! I'm glad I was on the right lines with the VLOOKUP I just couldn't work it out embarrassingly. Thanks very much for your help :-)
  15. I've been trying to work out how to do this for a while now and I'm sure for someone who knows what they are doing it would be simple enough just like most things. I've tried VLOOKUP but that seems like it needs you to enter a value to lookup as such. Anyway if anyone can help I'd appreciate it. So I have two sheets one with full name and some other data and a second sheet with full names and email addresses. What I want to do is match the full names and then if they match copy the email address across into sheet 1. So current it looks like this Thanks
  16. Sophos central is good. Look here for an idea on pricing https://www.phoenixs.co.uk/swgfl-sophos/
  17. I can probably hunt out the download if you still want it?
  18. Sorry to bump an old thread but has there been any improvements to edval since the last posts or has everyone stopped using it? Our large MAT who uses sims and t6 are thinking about moving to it and I haven't read anything good yet so am getting a bit worried. Thanks
  19. I think a potential way around this is with a lightning to ethernet adapter to temporarily give them internet access back so you can update your profile. Good luck
  20. On Dells monitors you can lock all the buttons including the power button which is great. On most others you can lock the on screen display menu to stop colour changes at least but perhaps not the power.
  21. Hi Tom, Any update on this please? Thanks
  22. Yes occasionally, I'm wondering if Smoothwall's web proxy cache needs clearing perhaps. @tangotech can you confirm if this would help please?
  23. Thanks everyone, disabling the ad blocking content modification has worked here also. Hopefully Smoothwall will update this and we can switch it back on at some point otherwise I'll have to look into an alternative to block Youtube ad's as they are constantly getting worse.
  24. Same here Leeds, update 60. Interestingly one machine I try it on works fine with the same user as a machine that doesn't. Same version of Chrome on both. What a strange issue this is. Thanks
  25. Can I ask where your buying the TVs from? I'd love to get a few in to try. I guess they've gone up a bit in price in the last year though?
