Our LEA gave us the wrong instructions. Their instructions pointed to TeacherNet: the education site for teachers and school managers . It was only when I called the help desk I got an automated message to new instructions Ps not normally my job but someone is away

Ok they have changed the dam website I have just got the new instructions!

I can log on its just when I go to the upload it says the site is closed! Am I the only one?

Ok these little things are really starting to annoy me in these word templates! I want to change a merge field so if it is a "Y" it is replaced with something else. { IF {MERGEFIELD Result:Commendation:Art - R } = "Y" "Tick" "Cross"} This should replace "Y" with "Tick" and anything else with "cross" I am actually using symbols but due to fonts etc I have replaced them with words for this example. Now this works on my test mail merge but I cannot get it to work for a sims report template. It's such a simple thing but it just doesnt want to work. Am I to assume it's just the way SIMs is using the template and it wont work?

I will second that. You will loose a lot of money in the first year. Far better to buy a car a year or 2 old.

I think we had this problem and it was not due to permissions as I checked them. Unfortunately I cannot elaborate on it as we got our county support to fix it remotely. I do believe it was something to do with a corrupted update download.

You probably have to be attendance coordinator or whatever the title is.

Were getting a 5406zl soon. We have ended up with more computer suites then I could ever have imagined so we need more fiber capacity at the core.

I am looking at purchasing one of these for an IT suite. I have seen Kyle had a random font problem with one of his but apart from that they seemed alright. Has anyone else had any experience of these they would like to share? I am looking for a good printer for this room that wont exibit the problems of the 3600 etc. I assume I am going to be safe with the 4XXX range. We are buying a 5550 for another room but I dont think we can stretch to another one of those. tia chris

The thing that keeps me on my bike the most on the way to work is watching the front wheels of the cars. These people that suddenly decide they dont like waiting in traffic and turn into a side road while your passing them

You have to have clairvoyant powers on a bike. I have had a few people pull a sudden U turn on me. I had one last week when I was out with my dad. I expected him to pull out on me I was ready for that and was ready to overtake him. But no he decides to do a U turn . Now this was in gisburn which has hundreds of bikes through it at weekend so you would think the residents would be a bit more observant but not the case unfortunately. The only time I have come off my bike was due to gravel then a mistake on my part after panicking at not slowing down at all.

Search for threads on software restriction policies. Basically you want to stop them running from external drives and home directories.
