Hi, I dont even see the Windows xp logo just does all the bios and boot check etc and then black screen.

Hey there edugeeker's One of the laptops installed a windows update yesterday and done the usual reboot but now it gets as far as putting in the boot password - Click enter and thats it black no more loading the hard drive light flashes once. I have tried Safe Mode, Last Configuration etc and nothing will work. Does this mean I got to do something with the hard drive! I hope not!!!! Please Help

Hey Edugeeker's. My nephew received an Acer Linux Web Book for Christmas and find that he has been on unsuitble websites! How would I go about putting a Web filter on the laptop to stop him going on these website's? I don't know anything about linux Never used it before.

Hey, My home computer is at the moment 70 Degree's C. I am not quite sure why? I cleaned it two days ago, so it isn't dusty. All the fan's are working, I haven't been doing alot on the computer just surfing the net and chatting on IM. Please could someone tell me the problem

Right guys I have opened my computer up and feel like a prat! when my mothboard was replaced when it was burned out the cables have not been replaced and are missing! Sorry for the trouble ! but thanks for the help

The 2 cd drives are not working on my computer for some reason. They are plugged in etc the light comes on but don't read disk's. What is wrong with it!!

Hi, I have just fixed a family members laptop because she was getting bsod (blue screen of death) But some how putting it in safemode made it work, Why did this make it work?? The blue screen was saying something about something in the registery wasn't working corrupt, absent, missing...??
