Post what you have and someone will be able to modify it for you.

There is only your clients to check as well after that although by default they should be fine. See the last part of my blog post about the client end.

The Microsoft printer migration tool should do this.

If you have written a VBS script to call that batch script then that command is probably going to be the same one to call all those separate commands in your batch file. Just keep repeating it for all the commands.

We have gone mostly app-v. We converted nearly everything as most stuff doesn't take long but we have only published what We know is in use. If anything is missing and is needed we just click enable and remotely refresh the machines and it's there instantly. Using app-v also allows me to control all the start menu shortcuts as well. I just have a script to clean up the all users menu.

I don't have any issues with a virtual server with 5 gigs of ram serving sims to 30 people as a remote app. I plan to load balance it next year just for availability during patching etc but not particularly for performance. Your spec server will be more than adequate.

Anything to do with the GPIO needs elevated privileges.

You should use a VM where ever possible to build your reference images so you can revert back to just before sysprep.

I had previously just installed the separate components through regular GPO software install and use a custom ADM/ADMX file to control the settings, this worked fine. Now I just use SCCM and set the dependancies to get the other items installed first. Do you really need to use a start up script?

Look for some stuff using pygame that might be a good start. I'm going to be doing some programming using the GPIO this weekend hopefully, if all my stuff arrives in time!

I have 2 HP MicroServers with 8 gig ram and 2 NICs. I use a 4 bay QNAP for storage. I run these as a Hyper-V cluster on the 180 day trial. QNAP keeps my files mostly, I only use the servers as a test bed and I don't run any services I need for home. Got an 8 port gig HP switch connecting everything.

What errors though? Have you put the modules in the right place? Do you have your execution policy set correctly?

You need port 53 open for DNS as you have guessed. You need to be able contact the DCs in the parent domain which will be found through SRV records in DNS of that domain.

Symbolic links works fine for steam games.

My boot file is I haven't needed to add the WDS server as an IP helper, just my normal DHCP server.

Does it still try and install itself into the local users profile as well?

I have a similar set up with just SIMS and office on the server and I don't see that kind of usage. Mine has about 6 gig I think and 30 teachers take their registers every lesson on that. SIMs is a remote app but that shouldn't make too much difference.

Look in the properties of the deployment share in the workbench and you will find them in there. You will need to look on line for some of those you want to add.
