Can AppLocker not help here? Can you block the Store App itself? Or whitelist all the apps you want so it blocks the rest.

Hi Fiza, 123D Design is another one I'm looking to deploy. We already use it but its manually installed. Use Autodesk Fusion myself and its very good, just a shame its so hard to deploy!

Sorry to bring back on old thread, but I'm trying to deploy Fusion 360 and I'm finding the admin installer won't run when using the quite command. When I set it, the exe loads and displays the extraction loading bar, once 100% the program closes and nothing is installed. Running the EXE as normal installs fine. No errors are reported in event viewer so not sure where to start.

This should work fine for the calendar as exchange sends an email containing the calendar item which is what gets put in your calendar. If the email can't be sent or is stopped by yourself it can't update users calendars.

You might want to ring them before sending it and state whats happened. As far as I know Toshiba are aware of the issue so make a point you want it under warranty.

I didn't no but other USB devices worked fine in the PC and I did move ports around etc. I'll try another machine just to be sure I think. I'll try the firmware upgrade as well but I suspect it will just fail to see the board.

Hi Promethean, One of our older Gen 2 boards stopped working the other day. We found it wasn't powering up so swapped the AC adapter on the back of the board which meant it then powered up. The board beeps on start up (As normal) and the light colour changes when the pen is close. However when we attach the USB to the laptop windows shows the 'unrecognised usb' message and no hardware is detected. We've swapped out the USB cable with a known working one and tried connecting directly to the back of the board rather than the wall plate. The laptop picks up other USB devices fine in all ports, we tried different ports with the board as well. Has the controller on the board failed? Thank You, Rob

If you stop the print spooler service does the page load fine? Would show if the problem with with devices or printers.

It depends where the data is as you also get charged per instance (IE backup source or type). So for us we backup a file server, MIS server and the DPM instance itself so we have 3 instances. It also depends how you want your data protected as you can pick from multiple datacenters, locations etc. Azure have a pricing calculator which can give you an idea but really the months trail will give you a better idea. https://azure.microsoft.com/en-gb/pricing/calculator/ Also depends on your rention periods etc. We backup around 600 GB and hold it for up to two years. Plus the SIMS backup and were paying out around £70 a month. We're only about 6 months in so costs will grow a little as we reach 2 years but compression means it shouldn't increase much. You pay as you go so if you can clean up your file storage (We've just done this) you can save money, rather than paying for 1 TB backup for 3 years and only using 500 GB of it.

We did this and meant we had a free month to get it setup. You can choosen between running a Azure Backup Agent or Azure Backup Server. We went for server which is a cut down version of DPM. It meant we can backup multiple servers from one console and backup locally to existing NAS boxes for a 30 day cache. Makes restoring easier and you can backup apps etc for up to 30 days without evening using Azure credit.

Second that, using it here and works well once you've got it settled down. Took a bit to get right at first. To those who use Google Drive, have you read the Terms and Conditions? Does it state backups are allowed? I'm sure most will state you can only store live documents, not backup files. If your using it as a second sync location rather than historical backups I'm sure your fine. There's a reason why they charge for backups and not cloud storage on Google Drive or OneDrive and its down to terms and conditions!

We opted to allow our students, stops them asking us to do it for them. Papercut tracks the cost and the device is just outside our AV office so high volume of staff walking past. We boxed the machine in so students can't remove paper or play with doors etc.

We give 50p each half term. If students go over they pay. We're only starting our second term but only 1 paid for more last term and most didn't run out. SEN students we put another 50p on if they run out as they type more up so print more.

Papercut MF here and really like it. You really need MF if you going to be using copiers as release stations. Look at other options but none held up to Papercut.

The solution has been found. See moodle post for full details but in summary: You need to make sure the cache is cleared, I had files which couldn't be deleted so I did it manually from within Windows.

I'm pretty sure I've got debugging on. I've enabled it via the admin area (Which I can get to it seems, just not the the home admin area that redirects. If I use the navigation menu on the site I can access pages within admin. I've also enabled debugging by the config.php file and your method above but no message are displayed the page just refreshes. The same applies if I find the recycle bin settings in the admin area rather than the upgrade page.

Normally any device without a ethernet connection will have a optional extra 'USB to Ethernet Adapter'. However make sure it supports PXE boot not all of them do. Otherwise you'll need to use a offline image from a HDD, I know MDT/WDS suports this method but not sure about FOG.

Morning All, For the last two versions of Moodle I've got stuck on the upgradesettings.php page. Its wanting to enable the recycle bin settings introduced recently but the page just refreshes when clicking save. I've enabled debugging but no error message is displayed. Had a lot in the web server log but I can only make out the page requests and no errors. The site is working currently for users but I can't get the admin areas as it loads this upgrade page every time. Any Advice? My knowledge of Moodle is very limited I just update it when it needs it.
