I know only a little about offline files so these are just some basic idea you might have tried already. First, you should be able to run a manual sync (Right click, sync all) and in Windows 7 there is a conflict list which helps you decide which files to keep, or keep both etc. It would be a case of running them like so on each laptop; 1, 2, 3, 2, 1 to get them all in sync. Offline files might also fail to sync over the VPN as it is classed as a slow link. This can be set in group policy and it should also give you the default slow link speed in there so you can gauge if that's the problem.

I have found the UniFi AP's go in to a 'No body loves me' mode if they can't ping the default gateway or management server. So you would have to make sure the network was plugged in before powering up otherwise they don't broadcast.

Offline files takes a bit of getting setup to work without extremely long logins. Also disable on any computers which don't go offsite or network. Otherwise it works ok depending how often the users sync with the network etc. I would advise on the shares to leave offline caching on apart for shares you don't ever want off site, even if you don't want to use offline files at the moment. That way its just one less thing to think about when you enable via group policy.

I have found it best to first create a 'Delete all network printers' printer in GPP, then add the printers. Just make sure its in that order. That way any old network printers get removed before it adds the new ones.

I would suggest using GPP Item Level Targeting. You will find it on the options tab I think when setting up the shared printer in GPP in the user config. You can use one GPO to control all printers for staff, students based on room location. Just add the OU you require to item level targeting. Takes a bit of playing around with but reduced the amount of GPO you might have.

I use Billberry wheel cleaner when I wash the car, then AG HD Wax on the wheels when ever I wax the rest of the car. Seems to do the job.

I would rate them well depend on the headset. I've had 5.1>2>7.1, the first set been 5.1 didn't really notice a difference, so when they broke got simple stereo set. Then got these Corsair ones which go up to 7.1 (You can adjust it in software) and you can tell its working when in games. Really helps in 1V1 on COD4 (And I need help). Does depend on lot on how you much spend, if you getting surround sound you need more money to get 5 good speakers than you would with two good ones, so be prepared to spend money on them for surround sound.

Got the Vengeance 1500 myself after my last set snapped on the headrest bit. Very good headset and 7.1 surround sounds works great. Do install the software from Corsair website as it improves them a lot. Shame there isn't a clip on the wire as its very long and tends to get in my way a little. Also the in line volume control is easy to mute the mic and does get hot. But would recommend for comfort and sound!

How about getting the MAC address of the WAP the laptop is connected too? Then match that MAC to a room and set the correct printer? Here is a example script to get the MAC, can't confirm it works however Access Point MAC Adderss

Might have a go at testing some of these methods this weekend. I have been looking for a easy solution which can be changed on the fly and this looks like it could be it.

Same, that's what got me with 10.8, computers with 10.6 already installed would install 10.8 fine but not new ones. Then found putting that support folder with the MSI in the deployment folder solved it.

If I remember right there is a folder with the MSI which contains the language installers. Make sure you have that with the MSI when you deploy it. I have this problem with 10.8 and found just having the MSI gave the above error. Soon as I copied the folder next to the MSI it was fine.

I have found in the past some excel files printed can block the queue. I had to delete all the printers and set them all up with the latest drivers again and that seemed to solve the problem, did you remove the HP printers before adding the Dell or have some cross over, might be worth a try when you get chance.

I can second this, I work in multiple primary schools and one has the reception class logging in with personal user accounts, its amazing to see kids can master it so quick and login themselves. Sometimes forget to logout but that's not a massive problem if you have a IT suite. The hardest bit it getting the teachers to trust you when you say 'They can do it!'. Good luck mate!
