I know with SIMS you need to publish the pulsar.exe rather than SIMSLoad.exe which RDP picks up (As its on the shortcut). Watch task manager when you open it onsite and see if it opens another EXE after the one in the shortcut has loaded.

Not sure about inventor but we have some Core i5 laptops with 8GB of RAM running Fusion 360. Student's don't normally make multi component models so you don't tend to have issues. We have some more powerful desktops which have nvidia quadro P400 card I think they are in.

We purchase P1 licence through our OVES volume licence, cost is around £5 per FTE. You get students licences for free. Although you might buy say 100 FTE P1 licences you'll get more in Office 365. Microsoft understand you might have staff who need the licence but don't count in your FTE. Governors are a good example.

Could you expand on exactly how you did this? Did you have to unblock certain 'General' URLs for the video player itself and then each video URL?

Hi All, It seems the https://www.thenational.academy/ website hosts it's videos on the Vimeo service which we have blocked. We'd like to avoid unblocking Vimeo as the content isn't always appropriate but I'm struggling to think of a solution to this issue. I know MathsWatch had the same problem and they now host videos on their own servers (Although you do have to request it and its done off IP access). Just wondering if you've hit this issue and what you decide to do about it? Thanks, Rob

Yes you need a Azure P1 licence to use conditional access. We have MFA on for all our staff and use it to secure our remote desktop server as well. We allow users to bypass MFA when onsite by using conditional access to set a trusted IP.

The issue we found was a lot of non-touch screens didn't have hard glass displays. Risking damage. Also by the time you'd paid for a commercial display (So you get a warranty for use in school) you were close if not the same or more than a 65" touch screen. 65" board can be had for around the £1300 mark currently.

Do you have AppLocker? Teams works from AppData folder and updates itself in that folder you it needs AppLocker approval to do so.

1. Granting 'Contribute' permissions rather than 'Edit' I think is what you need, however I've not checked that. 2. You can sync SharePoint libraries using OneDrive client on Windows 10. Yes it does. We get round this by staff setting up a meeting and inviting the student. Students are set so they can't create meetings so they can't then use that method to contact another student.

Voice>Calling Policy. Then either create and edit a policy you have applied to students. You can to set 'Make private calls' to off. You can also remove the chat window completely (So students can't IM message each other and must use a team) Messaging>Messaging Policy Then again, select the policy applied to students and turn off 'Chat'

We have hybrid join by AD Connect for all our AD machines but not gone down the 'Azure AD First' route yet where your primary auth is to Azure AD not local. I did test it quite a while back but we don't have any Intune licences so couldn't do a lot.

Thank you all for your help! I've just seen my first machine has been reported as compliant. I think it already have the OneDrive client on but at least its progress! I think its been a combination of a number of issues but thanks to your help I look to have solved the issues. Hopefully over the next few days more machines will show as compliant.
