Thank you. Just trying to streamline our process. Is there anyway of making the coversheet come out before? Assuming anyone using a coversheet would prefer it to come out on top of the document it's covering. Thanks
-
The thing is we do want the cover sheets we just want it to come out before the main print out rather than after and then have to rejiggle. Thanks
-
Sorry if I wasn't clear. We do want cover sheets but they way they get stacked up in our print queue the cover sheet comes out after the exam paper. So say we hit print on 20 exams we need to find the cover sheet and bring it to the top of the pile. Now this obviously isn't a game changer but in high pressure/low time situations like exams it can be stressful trying to sort them out. We use papercut and canon MFDs and when you view the queues the paper is printed seconds before the cover sheet so therefor it comes out after the paper. Does this make more sense? Thanks
-
Feature request: We use canon/papercut and when we print to the MFDs the files queue with the cover sheet after the exam so when released we have to move the cover sheet by hand. No Biggie but it would save us all some confusion and faffing. Thanks

Inherited Aerohive - Migrate to Extreme or jump ship
titch replied to Rundc's topic in Wireless Networks
Upgrading them to the very good extreme software was painless for us but also nearly as expensive as a new system. They have switched their model from expensive devises/cheap subscription to cheap devices/expensive subscription which has left us paying a lot more. Get your quotes I'm and see how they compare. . -
Is anyone using 5g as an alternative? Don't have to worry about different routes etc if you backup is wireless?
-
Turned out it was this but it really wasn't very easy to spot. Looks like I need to do some more training with the user.

We have a folder full of very confidential files which we have removed inheritance from. The folder is then shared out to the relevant people. Randomly we have a couple of low level users who can access the folder. On auditing the random user on the folder it shows they have Read access but it doesn't show through which group. Any ideas of another way of auditing this folder and figuring out how they have access?

Shocking. Anyone got a list of the other 2800 companies the DfE was giving access to? Likely the data has come from schools so we are still the owners then DFE processors? Does these leave us open to any kind of backlash? Does anyone have a data impact assessment for the DFE? The worse thing here isn't the breach itself it's that everyone at the DfE thought this was OK?

Be prepared to pay as much to move the extreme cloud than it cost you for your system originally.....

Does this mean it will auto sign into OneDrive/office applications? Anyone got this setup already?

Thanks. I will respectfully disagree and bow out at this point. If this thread is purely good will and rightly no politic swallowed I think mods should review some of the comments above that go past mourning her death and have extended their comments to proactively encouraging the monarchy. I wish her family well.

Have to ask.... Whilst I understand this thread is designed for good will and quite rightly be kept that way, and I by no means want to derail it as it is always important to respect others opinions, but is there no space for alternative opinion on forum? Must we go to other media platforms for that?

Do you then manually add students to the classes? -
One thing I've just been pulled up on if you use My school portal and worth checking as I'm sure you are doing the exact same things as us. MSP is allowing the viewing of records of contacts marked as "family and friends" in isams. I need to get MSP to turn that off asap!

Maybe a group chat if you fancy with MIS managers as well? Nothing much to really report just nice to chat to people going through the same currently.
