Usually very expensive, but 1 question. If it is a backup of photos, then he would still have the originals as well so there should be no issue. Or is it a "backup" by someone who doesn't know what a backup is. It depends entirely on the place, the only professional company I have used were for flash drives and it was £80 for 16gb

I have a Panasonic, but i have a Panasonic TV as well so I get the auto-link. But its brilliant. I find Sony products overpriced usually.

Think positive, you shouldn't have lost money, you bought when houses weren't at the top. The rest depends on a lot, how much equity you put into your house to start with. If you had a 25% deposit on your 100k house and you sold and got your money back. You will probably have enough to put down a 15% on your new house, if you only put down 10% then your obviously in a different situation. As for the sofa, well it would remove it from your affordability calculator, freeing up about £20 a month maybe. But then every penny could count. Edit: Also ignore the house price calculators, because some areas have gone up even when the region has gone down. Technically you can buy a house for £50k that had no roof and needed everything doing to it, then the house calculator will tell you your house has gone down by 10% still... they aren't accurate. Neither is Zoopla etc. Best way to get a valuation is an "expert" or just look at nearby properties that are similar.

I bought the bundle and paid more then the average of $7.50, the claim they cost $110 separately is a bit over the top, but Bastion is a fun game and worth paying more then average for I would say. I haven't played all the games yet but the ones I have can easily kill a few hours. I like the slider to choose who deserves the money!

CS5 had an MSI creator, well ok you could download that Management Tool and create one, I would assume CS6 is the same. Setting it to install though on a whole ICT suite at once isn't a good idea, it is a slow install at best (about 30 minutes for CS5). So a room full at once is bad

Outlook 2010 keeps adding 2nd account in To when Reply all
Achandler replied to phreak's topic in Office Software
I assume you are using Exchange or similar, but if you setup an inbox rule in Outlook or OWA, to redirect the mail from one account to another then it isn't forwarded as such, meaning the Reply address won't be the account forwarded from. -
I don't have a sysman account for SIMS only FMS. I actually think the Sysman account is just an account with permissions to everything within SIMS. I just use the admin account when I install one off patches and fixes from Crapita The SA accounts has special weird permissions.

I have an email from 4gon about them: "The pricing for the Ubiquiti Unifi UAP-Pro is now online, so you can now back-order these units Today! The Availability for these products is Early May."

I've got 38 Zoostorm PCs, and had 2 problems in 2 years with them. One dead MB and one a dead NIC. They are based on Merseyside somewhere, warranty support is hit and miss, they treat you like a home customer, so you have to jump through more hoops then I believe is necessary, I believe it is done through a 3rd party. Overall I would recommend them to be honest, much cheaper then other suppliers but be aware, the cases are usually HUGE.

The Olympics that is meant to bring everyone (worldwide) together but we should only allow British people to carry it Whether you like or dislike the idea of the Olympics etc in London (personally I'm not fussed either way), surely anyone who is worthy should be allowed to carry it. Now whether he is worthy of carrying it, that is a different matter.

Interactive Projectors VS Interactive Whiteboards
Achandler replied to andyturpie's topic in AV and Multimedia Related
The problem with touchscreen versus projector is the cost of the touchscreen to start with at the moment. You can get a 100inch image from an interactive projector for about £2k (installed etc), TVs are just in a compeltely different price bracket, pushing double that, which means even over a lifetime the TV would be more expensive by my reckoning, which is a real shame but a better image won't make members of SMT approve double the cost for a similar result. -
~£8500 annually for 100mb/ 100mb However your in Hull (I think) so you get Kingston Communications so your doomed for sure

Ask your neighbour they are we relating to speed, as distance to an Exchange is the real question. I have sky, i live next to the exchange so it is excellent, true of the matter is almost all companies would give me excellent service probably because I am so close I am less prone to work done futher from the exchange on telegraph poles etc, so suffer very little disruption.

Yeah there has definitely been a drop in the toner costs since we have had it. -
Papercut - Print Management
Achandler replied to ste1988's topic in Network and Classroom Management
Papercut is good, easy to setup and you can tweak it as you monitor your useage. We make our lasers expensive to rpint to but our MFPs free to pursuade people to print to them instead. -
I guess you don't want to know that I have 4 in my cupboard then? I would get the Pro or the normal really, the LR version don't seem to have much real difference.

wifigear or 4gon are the two main places.

Interactive Projectors VS Interactive Whiteboards
Achandler replied to andyturpie's topic in AV and Multimedia Related
I'm sure the Hitachi we trialled had a button on the pen that you could set to anything, we tried setting it to change pen type (i.e colour and rubber) and I remember it working. If and when i get a SMART Projector then I will let you know good it is to. -
We could hazard a guess.. but I think that might fall under the slander/ liable category, so it is probably best avoided.

Interactive Projectors VS Interactive Whiteboards
Achandler replied to andyturpie's topic in AV and Multimedia Related
It was an Hitachi short throw one, the newer models with the reversed mirror on it. I liked it, it was as accurate as a Smartboard. We are going to be buying (for two rooms) the Smart Projectors (LightRaise 40, I think) though, because "all our classrooms must have identical facilities" . My concern is that these projectors have active pens, which means they cost if they get lost. We don't have a huge problem with that here but you could effectively stop a classroom being "useable" because one pen is lost. -
Interactive Projectors VS Interactive Whiteboards
Achandler replied to andyturpie's topic in AV and Multimedia Related
We are going to try some very soon, I have used the Hitachi ones (had a trial one for a few days) Teachers were happy with it. Make sure it doesnt get "moved" in any way though, like the ceiling being shuck (by kids in thr class above) for example they don't like that. Also make sure the wall/ board is hard and flat against the wall. -
have you tried taking the printer in question off the wifi and re adding it? again?
-
If you can't ping the printer then can you ping the router? Or can you ping neither?
