OK boys & girls - while we're on unhealthy food stuffs - here's recipe thats so easy, but so scrummy, its bound to impress your respective partners! It makes a BIG pudding - so you may want to cut it down a bit STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING (NO 2) Serves 6. Sponge: 275ml boiling water 175g ready-chopped dates 1 rounded tsp bicarbonate of soda 50g slightly salted butter (Lurpak is perfect) a good pinch of salt 85g cane demerara sugar 85g cane molasses sugar 2 eggs 175g self-raising flour 1 tsp pure vanilla extract Sticky toffee sauce: 500ml double cream 160g slightly salted butter 160g molasses sugar ice-cold double cream (optional) Pre-heat the oven to 180C/gas mark 4. Measure the water from a boiled kettle, pour into a bowl and add the dates. Stir and leave until lukewarm. Measure out all the other sponge ingredients, add to the dates and water, and stir together. Put this into the bowl of a food processor or liquidiser and puree until nearly smooth but with a few tell-tale specks of date still visible. Generously butter a baking dish on all surfaces and pour in the sponge batter. It is important that the chosen dish is filled no more than half-full by the mixture, as it rises a great deal during cooking and you will need room to pour over the topping. Bake for about 40 minutes, or until just firm to the touch. Meanwhile, make the sauce, by heating the ingredients gently, whisking regularly, until they briefly boil together, then smoothly amalgamate - butterscotch sauce, effectively. Spoon into individual bowls and pour around some of the sauce. Cream, anyone?

I think you'll find that's "condensed milk" - not Carnation which "evaporated milk" *EDIT* - oops should have read the rest before commenting!

Had one of these for a long while with Nationwide - it is a bit inconvenient, as I have to remember to have the appropriate card with me when I'm doing any payments. Apparently I'm going to need it just to login shortly as well - which will be a pain. Ditto the First Direct comments - they were always a pleasure to deal with, but I gibbed when they wanted £10 a month for my business.

You should be able to use System Manager / Message Tracking System to see what happened to emails. Were they internal or coming from an external source - if external - it might be a bit trickier to chase down
