I've got a copy of that - didn't realise it was worth so much - I might dig it out & flog it...

A perforation of the small bowel. The op wasn't that big - but my body objected to it leading to weeks in intensive care (complete with scary hallucinations) and then respiratory failure - oh happy day... Now I'm just b*ggered because of the muscle wastage from lying down for so long. Still - made it to the top of the stairs today - that is progress for me. Cheers for the good wishes folks..

Hi there - just a brief note to tell those who know me, that I have FINALLY been discharged from hospital after 24 weeks of incarceration. Its not a few months that I would care to go through again (and Christmas Day in hospital is nothing like the Carry On films woulsd have you believe - not a mini skirted, tinsel bedecked, mistletoe carrying nurse to be seen) and I'm still doing the zimmer zombie shuffle - but I'm free, I tell you, FREE! The only thing that still sticks in the craw is that I had resigned from my job just before I went ill - so missed out on months of sick pay - Grrr! Anyway - I shall lurk about on here making some inane comments from time to time - Cheers

We've just had IndigoVision put in with about 70 cameras on it - it seems to be ok so far - but we haven't had any training yet - so am not using any of the features yet.

Just wondered if anyone had a Policy that specifies what teachers (or support staff) must do with relation to school Laptop Trolleys? We're thinking of getting them to sign up to putting them away properly, checking the laptops for breakage, etc etc - so any thing would be a useful starting point for us. Thanks

But there’s a good reason prices are so low – the Laguna's very poor reliability record. Owners view: Rubbish - too many sensors and electical parts that fail. Parts for the Laguna are very expensive and the build quality is rubbish. Not very economical either - was impluse buy as it was cheap, but I've regretted it ever since and I will be replacing it soon. This is a shame, as the Laguna's otherwise a nice car; it's a pleasant drive, has a comfy cabin and it comes with some strong, economical diesel engines. The Sport Tourer estate is both elegantly-styled and usefully practical. What do I need to know? Is it worth taking the risk, though? Probably not, unless you have a good independent garage with Renault experience nearby who can help you keep your car on the road at a reasonable cost. This 2001-2007 Renault Laguna is a quietly competent family car that gets most of the important things right – plenty of space inside, a large boot, secure road-holding and a comfortable ride. With the right engine, it can be a sprightly performer, too, and safety standards are good – it scored an excellent five out of five in crash tests. It’s annoyingly awkward to get in and out of, however, and rearward visibility is poor; plus, the steering on the estate could be better. Last, but not least, don’t forget its appalling reliability record, with a list of faults that stretches from here to next week. Track record Simply, the Laguna is a bit of a dog and it comes very close to receiving Don't Buy status. According to the 2011 Which? Car Survey, it has one-star reliability, and it was rated one of the worst cars to own - the fifth worst overall, in fact. Don't say we didn't warn you... What's it up against? I seem to remember the "domain admin" gotcha when I did our BES - turned out that Printer Admins were included in this "definition" - so all Blackberry users had to have their printer rights taken away

Obviously been watching quite a few of the "riots" and tbh I've seen more threatening trouble dealt with on a "normal" Friday night down town. Anyone else cynical enough to think that the police were "stepping back" as a warning to politicians about what will happen if their share of the cuts and pension reductions go through?
